Starlink is going interplanetary

SpaceX is exploring a lunar communication network using satellites orbiting the Moon and laser links connecting them together

They’re also developing concepts like “Roam: Interplanetary” - a Starlink terminal designed to provide high-speed internet for astronauts, lunar bases, and rovers anywhere on the Moon

The same network connecting millions of people on Earth today could eventually keep humans connected on another world

And Starship is what makes all of this possible

Not just as a rocket, but as the transport system capable of deploying satellites, infrastructure, cargo, and communication systems across the solar system

This is becoming full-scale science fiction in real life

Mind Robotics, the startup founded by Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe, has now raised over $1 billion for its AI-powered industrial robot project, valuing the company at $3.4 billion.

The latest fundraising round, which secured $400 million, was led by Kleiner Perkins and includes investments from Salesforce Ventures and Incharge Capital, a Volkswagen-affiliated venture-capital firm, The Wall Street Journal reports.
