The NASCAR family is saddened by the loss of Ned Jarrett, a NASCAR Hall of Famer, two-time Cup Series champion and one of our sport's greatest ambassadors.
We extend our deepest condolences.
Not sure who this post is for or what small audience even comprehends it, but…
Fleet Farm, Kwik Trip & Culver’s are Wisconsin’s version of HEB, Buc-ee’s and Whataburger.
I hate to go full Karen here, but this needs to be said.
One of the things that makes NASCAR special is that the fan experience is unmatched compared to almost any other sport.
Unfortunately, @NashvilleSuperS completely missed the mark.
The clear backpack policy and cooler ban are hard enough to justify, but if fans aren’t allowed to bring their own drinks, waiting 30+ minutes in concession lines is unacceptable, especially in the heat.
To make matters worse, there were no water stations available in the fan zone. That’s not just inconvenient; it’s a poor experience for the thousands of fans spending the day at the track.
And the makeshift Turn 4 grandstands provide a terrible view of the race, creating an overall viewing experience that falls well below what fans should expect.
I’ve never paid more than $40 for a track pass and that was for a more iconic track at Darlington. Nashville charged over $100 for the same experience. Unacceptable.
NASCAR fans invest a lot of time and money to attend these events. The facility experience should reflect that.
@bobpockrass Fucking stupid. Had all day to run a race. Now let’s stay up until 2 AM on a Sunday night when everyone has to go to work tomorrow to finish the race. Smart, fucking smart. Bunch of fucking monkeys calling the shots.
