Reply from my local mp @karinsmyth (Bristol South) on Friday. "The responsibility for this crisis lies with them" - but the Labour party is refuses to call for a ceasefire, and is complicit in what's happening.
Just outside of Bristol we have Elbit systems, Boeing, BAE Systems, and Airbus - all of whom supply arms to Israel. Israel has used these arms to kill thousands of civillians. The UK should revoke all licenses for arms exports to Israel. More: https://t.co/fRsXpNgAqg
The genocide apologists are out in force tonight.
Having lost the argument – no group in Gaza has a rocket that can flatten a hospital, not even close – they're trying to spin it differently.
Supposedly it was still one of Islamic Jihad's paltry home-made rockets but the damage was caused by it hitting an ammo dump – presumably a very large one stored in the middle of the hospital.
Even if that sounds like it might be true to you (and it really shouldn't), watch and listen to the missile slam into the hospital at terrifying high speed. That's a very hi-tech armament. Not something Islamic Jihad knocked up in a workshop after watching a YouTube tutorial.
There truly are ghouls out there – and they will keep spewing out new bits of disinformation on behalf of Israel's genocidal government. Don't be fooled
In the immediate aftermath of horror, we need voices for de-escalation and peace.
Instead, our political leaders have given the green light for the annihilation of Gaza.
My piece for @tribunemagazine.

@sihil@sabinarose Oops I'm not very on top of the tweeting! I haven't used datasettle. There were quite a few talks on openrefine at data harvest which seems very powerful
On the 75th anniversary of the Nakba, rewatch our #Nakba75 video series and hear powerful testimony from three Palestinians on their experience of the ongoing Nakba. 🇵🇸#NakbaDay#FreePalestine https://t.co/ihQqw7m9BQ (1/3)
I keep returning to these graphs by @jburnmurdoch at the @FT and wondering why more British journalism can't be as straightforwardly lucid and illustrative as this. The catastrophe of Tory rule laid bare.
