@DrGuitar @ChoppinHeadz The older artists relied on people going out and physically buying records. If the music was crap, people didn't buy it. That is why they developed legend status and loyal fan bases.
Modern artists churn out music that can be listened to very easily for free, without any effort.

@andyburnham None of the gimmicks deflect from the fact that my personal tax liability has risen by over £2,400 a year.
I find the constant spin and deflection insulting.
I am happy to pay tax if it is spent improving the UK before being handed to corrupt governments and overseas NGOs!

Politicians seem blinded by the need to appease those that damage communities & create division in society, at the expense of the law abiding majority.
The UK deserves better.

@iamtomskinner My Dad used to like driving us overnight to France. Me and my two brothers lying down in sleeping bags in the back of Dad's Volvo 240 estate. Very pleasant memories of falling asleep counting street lamps!

@antmiddleton This hits home Ant. When my dad lapsed into sleep before he died, I sat with him for hours, asking him all the questions that, for some reason, I never felt able to ask him. My biggest regret.
2 yrs later, I still really struggle with it, but I talk about him often which helps.
