Crazy statistical illiteracy. Garg compares this year’s new-series GDP with last year’s old-series GDP! He gets 2.6% nominal. Congress then sells that as 2.6% real growth.

If you change the base year and the methodology, you do not freeze last year’s Q1. Either restate both quarters on the new series, or calculate this year’s Q1 on the old base and methods and then compare. You cannot mix the two. Growth is always same series, same method.

Q1 vs Q1 on the new 2022-23 series is 7.8% real and 10.3% nominal. That is the only valid comparison. It is embarrassing that this disgruntled man was Finance Secretary in the Modi Govt. WDTP

Reality: The claim is FALSE ❌

Facts: The 60% figure is being misrepresented. IMF research estimates that around 60% of jobs in advanced economies are exposed to AI, not that 60% jobs will disappear. Exposure can mean automation, augmentation or productivity gains.

The WEF projects that 170 million jobs will be created and 92 million jobs will be displaced globally by 2030, resulting in a net gain of 78 million jobs.

The Directorate of Mines & Minerals, Government of West Bengal, has officially approved a joint reconnaissance survey across Simulpal, Labani, Bhandarchua, Chauga Pahar, Hasa Dungri, Karka, Begundiha, Birmandal, Banspahari and the surrounding manganese-bearing belts.

MOIL Limited will now coordinate with the Geological Survey of India (GSI), the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) and WBMDTCL to assess the region’s true mineral potential, with fieldwork scheduled for 15–19 September 2026.

For years, this natural wealth remained locked away due to the Mamata Banerjee government’s indifference and red tape. Today, under a BJP government committed to real development, Jhargram’s mineral riches will finally get their due.

Ashwini ji was always good in presentation on all the amazing work he has been doing in MeiTY and Railways for India. Now he's rocking with such explainer videos.

Just when I myself was getting blackpilled about the lack of proper PR and effective comms from GoI, I see a sudden change now among many ministries and the ruling party, with MPs themselves reaching out to Gen-Z.

This is a great way to explain the tremendous, unprecedented development work going on in India done by them without proper PR or poorly presented PR till now. Hope more such PR is done along with the counter of misinformation.

For example, "India doesn't manufacture, only assembles" is one such very bad blackpilling pushed by adversaries into Indian minds while they themselves assemble from 80% imported parts and proudly call it as made in their country.

I never understood why GoI could not counter this narrative the right way stating the simple facts repeatedly and pushing it widely. That's all is needed.

So, imo, this is a seriously welcome change and the first step. I think the directive must have directly from PM himself. Should we thank the anarchists for this? For shaking the GoI and the ruling party out of slumber in their infowar and PR?

सवाल: 5 सितंबर को प्रदर्शन क्यों कर रहे हैं?

आशुतोष रांका: “हम प्रदर्शन इसलिए कर रहे हैं क्योंकि BJP ने Gen-Z के खिलाफ दर्ज FIR वापस नहीं ली।”

फिर पत्रकार ने अगला सवाल दाग दिया:

सवाल: लेकिन आपने एक इंटरव्यू में कहा था कि BJP के गुंडों ने आपका प्रदर्शन खराब करने की कोशिश की। अगर FIR BJP समर्थकों के खिलाफ है, तो BJP उन FIR को वापस क्यों ले?

सवाल पसंद आया → अच्छी पत्रकारिता।
