Are Labour trying to lose?
Rush out transport policy to cover up yet another scandal
Subsidy for an already heavily subsidised area
Sends taxes from small towns to the big cities
Labour say it'll cost 65m
Labour's own figures suggest it could cost 1.2bn
Hopeless ๐คก ๐ช
How the Left can openly celebrate declining education standards and then cry at policies that will stop the rot tells you exactly whatโs important to them.
It is technically indefensible if we are talking about the right wing technocratic changes being jammed through parliament that takes education back to the 80's. We need to aspire to be like Finland.
Share of emissions
China - 33% (not doing net zero)
United States - 13% (not doing net zero)
India - 7% (not doing net zero)
Russia - 5 (not doing net zero)
NZ - 0.09 DOING NET ZERO
Nothing we do will make the slightest difference
Net zero is a waste of our money
@TonyStuart55@Light42Lime Itโs what they all do for the optics.
I remember having a meet and greet with Chester Burrows in his office many years ago and he excused himself as he got the call to go and sit in a seat behind an MP making a speech.
Hipkins-
"These are big corporations asking the government for a law change, then are getting that law change, and the prime minister seems to be washing his hands of anything to do with the lobbying around that."

Iโm sick of unintelligent people not understanding the consequences for NZ, and especially its most vulnerable people this poster claims to care for, of allowing corporations to be sued for their minuscule share of 0.08% of global emissions.
I'm sick of the corruption of this National coalition. They let corporations write laws and then enact them while we suffer the consequences. Over it. ๐ค
