@JeffdotLayton @thewarzonewire Key difference: AF does provide CAS to the Army (and other branches). AF has trained and spent $$$ on this mission for years and is very good at it. In contrast, the Army is unable to defend forward deployed AF units in theater because they chose not to resource it
