Building the future of work with AI - sharing what works, what fails, and what I learn along the way.

In India travelling on a train is such a hassle , people, especially families travelling assume you should automatically adjust to their wishes - changing seats, people don't have basic civic sense , occupy others seats

Such a mess to be honest !!

AI helps us code, write, research & build faster than ever.

But we still spend hours chasing follow-ups, organizing scattered tasks, and figuring out what needs attention.

What if AI helped manage the work around the work?

If AI could take ONE more thing off your plate, what would it be? 👇

[Manish Patkar| AI & Product. @PMFunMaster]

PMs, let's use this thread to discover the best personal productivity systems out there! 👀

I'm talking about all those little things we need to keep track of:

→ That competitor we wanted to research
→ The customer insight we meant to dig into
→ The stakeholder we promised to follow up with
→ The 20 random ideas and to-dos from meetings

Somehow, these end up scattered across Notion, Excel, Teams chats, sticky notes, and our brains. 😅

And the hardest part? Remembering to come back to them before they get buried.

So, what's your actual system for staying on top of everything?

Cheap intelligence ≠ Useful intelligence. AI can draft, investigate, and surface insights, but people still need to own the decision.

That gap is why we put verification before autonomy at @BrightMoneyCo.

@mudassirazvi @harshilmathur @trq212 @Razorpay Yup, checking this out . Thanks for pointing the difference

[Manish Patkar| AI & Product. @PMFunMaster]

@FlameBlue1234 Yup this nuance makes sense. When deep thinking sessions are involved maybe more typing vs coordination or organising is just voice focussed

[Manish Patkar| AI & Product. @PMFunMaster]

Hot take: Typing prompts might be the "slowest" way to work with AI.

I've started wondering how many people actually talk to their AI instead of typing.

If you use Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any AI agent at work:

Do you use voice dictation? 🎙️

Rest of India: It's done bro
Bengaluru: bro, it's done it seems

@WhatsApp - you have like 10+ buttons and functions on a single screen

I had to give my parents and entire hour long tutorial on how to use it .

@kunalb11 what would be cool is just one voice command , they tap it and say what should happen. Turn camera, share screen etc

Muse will be the top installed app for a while thanks to Meta’s distribution might..

But they are starting to have a retention issue: most people still don’t know what to do with a personal agent, so they lose interest after a while.

I bet Muse will get much more proactive rather than reactive like it is today:

“I can take care of this for you. Want me to?”

I think there are a LOT of money saving opportunities in finance

“Your credit card is charging 27% interest. You qualify for a much cheaper way to pay it off. Want me to move it?”

“You have $8,000 sitting in checking earning almost nothing. Want me to move the excess to a higher-yield account?”

“You’re paying off three debts. Putting your extra $300 toward this one first will save the most interest. Want me to change the payments?”

“Your car insurance just went up 22%. Want me to shop for a cheaper policy?”

“You’re paying for two subscriptions you haven’t used in months. Want me to cancel them?”

“Your employer will match another 2% of your 401(k) contributions. Want me to increase it?”

“Your credit card annual fee is coming up, but you barely used the benefits. Want me to downgrade it?”

Other non finance examples:

“Your kid’s soccer practice moved to 6:30. Want me to tell your spouse and update the calendar?”

“This group chat has been trying to pick a restaurant for three days. Friday at 7 works for everyone. Want me to book it?”

“Your package is delayed and will now arrive while you’re at work. Want me to change the delivery?”

Your sister’s birthday is Saturday. Here are three gift ideas under $50.”

“You usually order groceries on Sunday. Want me to rebuild last week’s cart?”

“You told your friend you’d send them those photos. Want me to do it?”

“You’re running late for dinner. Want me to text the group your ETA?”

“One of the Marketplace couches you saved just dropped $100. Want me to message the seller?”

“Your flight is delayed. Want me to tell the person picking you up?”

“You’ve been trying to make plans with three friends. Saturday afternoon is the only time everyone is free. Want me to organize it?”

“Your dentist asked you to reschedule. I found three open appointments that work with your calendar. Pick one?”

“Your child’s school sent a permission slip due Friday. Want me to remind you tonight?”

“You said you need to return something to Target. The return window closes in four days. Want me to remind you when you’re near one?”

Basically moving from: You think of a task → you ask → AI helps.

To:
AI notices something → suggests an action → you approve.

Then you trust it and Muse handles routine things automatically and tells you afterward.

IMO people aren’t going to keep opening an agent because it can answer questions, unless they are subbing muse for ChatGPT; I don’t think it’s there yet…

They’ll keep opening it because it keeps saving them time, remembering things they forgot, and taking annoying little tasks off their plate.

[Shikhar @shikhars_]

hey muse, every time a business sends me a promotional message on whatsapp -

block, report, find them on app store to leave a 1 star review, email their support to never do this again, find emails of their board of directors and send an escalation to all of them.

@altryne Already posted about it 😭🫢

[Manish Patkar| AI & Product. @PMFunMaster]

Can we just undo these latest Codex @ChatGPT UI update. I hate the way it now shows what is is working on ( fonts, style is off )

Also very buggy, takes a while to load , no smooth transitions :/

@surbhiskjain I would think that she should be good at everyday food + speciality or complex items. I would ask her to make one everyday dal, roti, sabzi and one speciality that we like eating

Astra has been so underwhelming, AGI still way far guys :p
