Introduction to Bangalore Communities!

A great thing about blr is that there is a community for everything - whether you want to play sports, board games, trek, walk, read, paint, eat, or just yap!
But it’s scattered, either you get to know from word of mouth, or it comes on your feed. It’s all luck.

I have been here for almost 3 years now, here’s a list of all communities I know

They are figuring out how to find 4 hours in the day. Their schedules didn't match and they kept negotiating how it could be split between morning and evening.

Bangalore is of the people who have lived here. My ex co founder is a gujarati who is more bangalorean than most kannadigas i know. I've been in and out of this city more than 40 years, and it will be my city, regardless of the languages I know.

Mohandas Pai and Kiran Shaw are Of this city as much as as anyone else. Things change slowly in BLR but it has always needed an agent, and i hope we are all able to make this city a little more liveable over time.

Don't fall prey to divisive narratives. India's true nature is to go beyond the colour, language, caste and religion that naturally divide us all.
