@adamdavidson I agree with some of the other commenters you should be paid for what you contribute here not paying Twitter. I guess that's part of the problem.
If you're souring on Twitter where can/are you going to put these energies and thoughts instead?
Like many of you I'm burnt out on this tweet structure but the content for asking customers the right questions is spot on here ✅
(I'm retweeting it in fact to it makes it easier to find again when I cam back at work)
1/ "What's the hardest thing about [doing this thing]?"
Goal: find the part of the problem that's frequent or painful enough to be worth solving
This creates an open-ended conversation about how they currently deal with the problem
For non-teaching friends who don't understand why teaching is so stressful, imagine this scenario. You have to run meetings all day long. You get virtually no time to prepare for the meetings. During the meetings, there are 30 people in the room who are forced to be there.

@sterlingnelson Ya, decent. Vancouver hasn't done much and our final shot has been bad but I'll take it. Brent has been scary in the attack. His lack of a left shuts down so many times when we should go down the left wing.
Power of video - "sometimes it is more effective to talk things out than to type them" - Tech with Heart by Stacey Roshan. Such a simple yet powerful thought - used extensively by YouTubers and still need more traction amongst educators. #EDPE640@staceyroshan
@TomFrankly@mar15sa We took a similar approach within our team. So so much better:
- Less time
- More meaningful questions
- Easy to go back to later
- all asynchronously
@mar15sa It would be nice to read more about specific companies - social proof is very powerful. Hard to know if these practices do work at larger places when details can't be shared.
Bot Auttomattic and GitLab are around the ~2,000 mark. Agreed something seems to work at both!
@TotalSoccerShow@RyanJayBailey It's a very local fandom focused question but does #MNUFC have a chance to right the ship this year?
Also what is the outsiders' view of Adrian Heath as a coach?
Still probably the best diagram about organizational structures, drawn ~10 years ago (and still relevant!) by @lmanul. Original source: https://t.co/AxInoY5hTP
