NOPE! We primarily host our own sites on AWS / Vultr. If it was not for our Senior Sysadmin (my dear friend Emil) pinging us about this at 6am we would have slept on this.

I do have clients that are still on managed hosts at this point / using WP / PHP and not a word from them. Thanksfully we can upgrade ourselves.

I haven’t, with hosting across @wpengine, @automattic, @godaddy, @LiquidWeb, and more. Nada. Total radio silence. “Managed WordPress” is BS.

@sudoingX OR you run the reverse: the RAM DISK. back when RAM was pennies. we'd load up 128GB and make 64GB of that a "RAM DISK" think of it like fast as fuck storage (for db caches, video editing, etc)

@lilyraynyc my prediction was always: this is why YAML/MD/XML/API/Programmatic "alternate versions" of the website will exist, to interface with agents while not disrupting the ad ecosystem and taking down existing infrastructure
