लोग कहते हैं कि आजकल की जेनरेशन बहुत बुद्धिमान है। पर मुझे लगता है कि इससे मूर्ख जेनरेशन आज तक पैदा नहीं हुई। क्योंकि इनको मालूम ही नहीं है कि हम क्या कर रहे हैं, क्यों कर रहे हैं और उसके परिणाम क्या होंगे।

चार दिन से जंतर-मंतर के वीडियो देख रहा हूँ। सोशल मीडिया पर भरे पड़े हैं। ये वीडियो कहाँ से आईं? ये उसी भीड़ के एक हिस्से ने बनाई हैं, जो जंतर-मंतर पर मौजूद है। वहाँ से जो भी वीडियो आ रहा है, वह हमें बहुत कुछ दिखा रहा है।

उस भीड़ में लड़के हैं, लड़कियाँ हैं, यंग जेनरेशन है। सब 20–22 साल के आसपास के। फैंसी टी-शर्ट, फैंसी कपड़े और फैंसी हेयरस्टाइल बनाकर इस तरह जंतर-मंतर पर घूम रहे हैं जैसे यह कोई आंदोलन नहीं, बल्कि फैशन शो या पिकनिक स्पॉट हो। यहाँ आकर यूट्यूबर्स और मीडिया कैमरों के सामने बाइट देना, gaa-लियाँ देना और अजीब-अजीब स्लोगन लिखे हुए कट-आउट हाथ में लेकर घूमना, एक तरह का स्टेटस सिंबल बन गया है।

लड़कियाँ ऐसे कट-आउट लेकर घूम रही हैं जिन पर इतने भद्दे, गंदे और अश्लील स्लोगन लिखे हैं कि मेरी जेनरेशन के लोगों को उन्हें पढ़ने में भी शर्म आती है। देश के प्रधानमंत्री के लिए, देश के लिए जिस तरह की gaa-लियाँ दी जा रही हैं, और वह भी लाइव कैमरों के सामने, वह हैरान करने वाला है।

मैंने एक लड़की को कहते सुना - "मोदी को goo-ली M ₹₹ दो।" और वह यह बात हँसते हुए कह रही थी, जैसे यह कोई सामान्य बात हो। जबकि पत्रकार उसे समझा रहा था कि जो आप कह रही हैं, उसके लिए आपको जवाबदेह होना पड़ेगा। लेकिन उसे कोई फर्क ही नहीं पड़ रहा था। मतलब इन्हें यह तक नहीं पता कि जो कर रहे हैं, उसके परिणाम क्या हो सकते हैं। ऐसी जेनरेशन को आप सबसे बुद्धिमान जेनरेशन कैसे कह सकते हैं?

और जिन नेताओं को ये लोग आज gaa-लियाँ दे रहे हैं, कल इनके माँ-बाप उन्हीं नेताओं के चरण चाटते फिरेंगे कि हमारे बच्चे को इन केस-मुकदमों से बचा लीजिए।

दूसरी बात...

दिल्ली से हजारों किलोमीटर दूर बैठे भारत के हर कोने में लोगों को समझ आ रहा है कि इस आंदोलन में राजनीति हावी है। नेताओं के लोग, पार्टियों के लोग शामिल हैं, जो किसी भी तरह देश में उपद्रव करना चाहते हैं। बार-बार मंच से भी कुछ लोग और नेता कह रहे हैं कि भारत में नेपाल बनेगा, भारत को बांग्लादेश बना देंगे। मतलब सीधा-सीधा उनका लक्ष्य है कि भारत में हिंसा फैले।

यह बात जंतर-मंतर से हजारों किलोमीटर दूर बैठे लोगों को समझ में आती है, लेकिन वहाँ मौजूद 20–25 साल के लड़के-लड़कियों को समझ नहीं आती। उन्हें यह तक नहीं पता कि वे किसका हिस्सा बन रहे हैं, किसका समर्थन कर रहे हैं और किस उद्देश्य के लिए वहाँ मौजूद हैं।

तीसरी बात...

हर वीडियो में दिख रहा है कि वहाँ मौजूद 5–7 हजार लोगों में से लगभग 80 प्रतिशत लोगों के हाथ में मोबाइल है और सबके कैमरे ऑन हैं। इसका मतलब समझते हैं आप?

यह बदलते परिवेश और नए जमाने का असर है। सबको शॉर्टकट से अमीर बनना है, फेमस बनना है। कोई किसी को शूट कर रहा है, कोई खुद को शूट करवा रहा है। चाहे उसके लिए कुछ भी बोलना पड़े - अश्लील बातें, हिंसक बातें या कानूनी रूप से गलत बातें। बस किसी तरह वायरल होना है, रातों-रात मशहूर होना है।

इनको कोई अंदाजा नहीं कि "क्रांति" जैसे भारी शब्द का बोझ उठाने के लायक ये हैं भी या नहीं।

और सबसे बड़ी बात...

सरकार से उम्मीद रखते हैं कि लाठीचार्ज न हो, पुलिस कार्रवाई न हो। लेकिन दूसरी तरफ पुलिस पर पत्थर फेंकते हैं, पेपर स्प्रे करते हैं, पत्रकारों की Pटाई करते हैं, पुलिस की गाड़ियाँ जलाते हैं और संसद में घुसने की कोशिश करते हैं।

मतलब आपको यह सब करने दिया जाए? संसद में घुसने दिया जाए? कैसी सोच है यह?

वहाँ जो भी लोग शामिल हैं, उनमें से आधे लोग अराजक हैं, जो अराजकता फैलाने ही आए हैं। कुछ लोग राजनीतिक उद्देश्य लेकर आए हैं। और जो बाकी यंग जेनरेशन के लड़के-लड़कियाँ हैं, उनमें से 90 प्रतिशत के माँ-बाप को शायद यह भी नहीं पता कि उनकी औलाद जंतर-मंतर पर घूम रही है।

यह जेनरेशन अपने माता-पिता के नियंत्रण में नहीं है। होस्टलों और कोचिंगों में रहने वाले ये युवा स्वतंत्र हैं और दिल्ली में रहते-रहते जंतर-मंतर पहुँच गए। एक फैशन सिंबल बन गया है कि "हम आंदोलन का हिस्सा हैं।"

जबकि इन्हें आंदोलन शब्द की कीमत ही नहीं पता।

किसी भी भीड़ को तभी तक आंदोलन कहा जाएगा, जब तक उसके पास नेतृत्व हो, लोकतांत्रिक और जायज माँगें हों और वह अहिंसक हो। जिस क्षण आप हिंसक हो जाते हैं, उसी क्षण आप आंदोलनकारी नहीं, अराजकवादी हो जाते हैं। और हर अराजकता को रोकना सरकार का दायित्व होता है।

अब एक और महत्वपूर्ण बात...

नेताओं के बयान देखिए। केजरीवाल कह रहे हैं - "मोदी की हिम्मत नहीं है केस करने की। हम बड़े-बड़े वकील खड़े कर देंगे, छुड़वा लेंगे।"

इसी तरह दूसरे नेताओं के भी बयान हैं। कल टीएमसी का एक नेता संसद के बाहर कह रहा था कि मीडिया को वहाँ जाना ही नहीं चाहिए। अच्छा हुआ कि मीडिया को मा ₹ आ गया।

मतलब यह कैसी बुद्धिमान जेनरेशन है, जिसे यह समझ नहीं आ रहा कि राजनीतिक लोग इन्हें भड़का कर अपना राजनीतिक उल्लू सीधा कर रहे हैं?

देश का 90 प्रतिशत आदमी समझ रहा है कि जंतर-मंतर से संसद तक जो कुछ हो रहा है, उसमें राजनीतिक दल अपनी सत्ता की राजनीति कर रहे हैं। लेकिन यह बात इन लड़के-लड़कियों को क्यों नहीं समझ आती? क्या इनका आईक्यू इतना कम है? या इन्हें लगता है कि इस तरह gaa-लियाँ देकर, प्रधानमंत्री को अपशब्द कहकर, धर्म और देश को gaa-लियाँ देकर ये नेता बन जाएंगे?

कितने बड़े मूर्ख हैं ये लोग।

अगर मैं जेपी आंदोलन की बात करूँ...

यह भारत के सबसे चर्चित आंदोलनों में से एक था। लेकिन इस जेनरेशन को शायद जेपी का नाम भी नहीं पता होगा। आंदोलन के बारे में पढ़ना और जानकारी लेना तो बहुत दूर की बात है। यह इंस्टाग्राम जेनरेशन है। पढ़ाई-लिखाई से इनका ज़्यादा मतलब नहीं।

याद कीजिए...

जेपी आंदोलन में लाखों लोग शामिल हुए थे। उनमें से नेता कितने बने? दस, बीस, पचास या सौ। बाकी लोगों का क्या हुआ?

जो नेता बने, शायद उन्होंने लाठियाँ भी नहीं खाई होंगी। लेकिन जिन्होंने लाठियाँ खाईं, उनका भविष्य क्या हुआ? उनके परिवारों का क्या हुआ? उनके बच्चों का क्या हुआ? कितने लोग मारे गए? कितने घर बर्बाद हुए?

मिला क्या?

हाँ, इंदिरा गांधी चुनाव हार गईं, सरकार बदल गई। लेकिन उसके बाद क्या हुआ? क्या सिस्टम बदल गया? क्या उन लाखों लोगों की जिंदगी बदल गई?

नई सरकार बनी, अलग-अलग विचारधाराओं के लोग साथ आए। सरकार एक साल भी नहीं चली। सरकार गिर गई। और जो नेता उस आंदोलन से उभरे थे, उनमें से कई बाद में उसी कांग्रेस और इंदिरा गांधी के साथ सत्ता में शामिल हो गए।

यही अन्ना आंदोलन में भी हुआ। वहीं से केजरीवाल निकले।

जो भी इन आंदोलनों में शामिल होता है, अंत में उसके हाथ अक्सर अफसोस ही आता है।

जेपी आंदोलन के लोग आज जीवित हैं या नहीं, मैं नहीं जानता। लेकिन अन्ना हजारे आंदोलन में शामिल हुए अधिकांश लोग आज भी हैं। उनसे पूछिए - उनकी जिंदगी का सबसे बड़ा अफसोस क्या है?

अब इतनी साफ दिखाई देने वाली बातें भी अगर इस इंस्टाग्राम जेनरेशन को समझ नहीं आतीं, तो मैं इसे आज की सबसे बुद्धिमान जेनरेशन कैसे कहूँ?

इसलिए मैं कहता हूँ कि इस जेनरेशन से मूर्ख जेनरेशन आज तक पैदा नहीं हुई।

Congress is now at the forefront of the paper leak issue as if they were saintly guardians of student rights all along.

Look at their track record in just one state, Rajasthan. Major examinations faced severe breaches, from the REET 2021 exam affecting more than 12 lakh candidates to the cancellation of a shift in the 2022 Police Constable exam when leaked screenshots surfaced. The pattern continued with leaks in the RPSC Senior Teacher General Knowledge paper, widespread organized fraud and dummy candidates during the RPSC SI recruitment process, and serious corruption surrounding the School Lecturer Agriculture Science paper, which ultimately led to investigations and arrests involving former RPSC members.

While the Congress now actively protests paper leaks, it is worth remembering how the issue was handled when they were in power. Back then, Priyanka Gandhi dismissed the systemic flaws as merely a "national problem" while claiming the Gehlot govt had "tried" its best.

For the students fighting for their future, political affiliation is completely irrelevant. A paper leak is a crime against hardworking youth regardless of who is in power, whether it happens under a BJP govt or a Congress govt.
