After the district-level demonstrations on 18 and 19 November, Around 8,000 contractual employees from across Assam are prepared to move to Guwahati for a state-level, intensive pen-down agitation starting 25 November' 25.

The All Assam P&RD Contractual Employees' Council today continued its pen-down and sit-in demonstration in front of all District Commissioner, Zila Parishad and DRDA offices across the state. Nearly 8,000 P&RD contractual employees participated in the protest all over Assam.

1️⃣ Increase the current monthly salary by an additional ₹30,000 and ensure equal pay for equal work.
2️⃣ Implement a permanent annual salary hike of at least 10%.
3️⃣ Ensure job security up to the age of 60 as recognition of long service.
4️⃣ Formulate and implement an HR policy.

Where a permanent employee avail various leave facility with a high salary, a contractual employee of PNRD has no leave, no holiday according to higher authority with a very low remuneration(18000). Pay according to our work and qualification. @himantabiswa @CMOfficeAssam
