@GeorgeCaulkin is it that they don't have the deep pockets of the PIF and Reubens, difficult to remain in partnership when the master plan is a new stadium, broader regional development, new training ground and huge investment on the playing side. Leave on a high with a good ROI for the effort
@WiganWarriorsRL Why kick a penalty that is out of range? Why not take the tackles and move into range of an easy drop goal??? Poor decisions in the heat of battle.
@ChrisDHWaugh @TheAthleticUK @GeorgeCaulkin @TaylorandBesty Is number 10 the thing Bruce needs focus on to resolve our lack of attacking threat. All through wings makes it easier for centre backs. No one in between the lines, turning and running to commit CB to create space for Wilson to run. Need pace - Almiron or ASM? #PodOnTheTyne
When the government was so quick to ask footballers to do their bit at the start of the pandemic, it would be nice to think that they will listen to one who has gone above and beyond in these uncertain times. #maketheUturn

@LukeEdwardsTele@MsiDouglas@ADMusgrove@ChronicleNUFC it is an extra 2.5 million over the term of the contract to be fair, not including the signing on fee. It's a lot of money for a young lad. Gives him financial security for life - although you may say he has that anyway as a premier league footballer - it is a big decision.
@SkySports_Keith the club is paralysed by this which is fine in a lockdown but we have 9 players whose contracts are up in a months time and surely there comes a time when the PL have to make a decision to allow the club to make some business decisions.

On Saturday it took 3 hours to get home from Burnley to parbold. It’s only 25 miles away... the service is shocking, the staff have no joy in serving customers, the rolling stock is appalling and you should not have the opportunity to run this operation
@northernassist third time this week, sat on a northern train waiting for a driver or guard... train pulls into station with the required staff, why do you have to change staff mid journey and leave passengers stranded with a system that doesn’t work?
Just been told there is no guard... have to get off the train. Stranded in Wigan having worked in London all day. Just want to get home to see my family before the kids go to bed. Why do we have to pay and put up with a service like this?
Two years ago this week on a night out I came across a guy sitting on the ground outside, his head down looking sad. I stopped and asked him if he was ok. He said no, that he had a fight with his girlfriend and he was feeling really low.
