@Sarah15709460 Apologies for delayed response. For 1st case, yes, eg: "https://t.co/RN2nfvXDut long lives this". For 2nd case, no (but poems of specific line count possible, eg: "https://t.co/WiTQF6zrMh"). Thx, glad you like it!
Some new updates to poetryDB: (1) Retrieve random poems with /random (2) limit number of poems with /poemcount (3) https now enabled and enforced. Note: both /random and /poemcount can be used in combination with other searches. thanks to all those who raised issues or questions.
@GandhiSerena Thanks for suggesting. Would it be possible to submit the request at https://t.co/4l9CqKU6aQ and describe in more detail? This helps to keep track of the discussion and go further into the technical implications. Thanks!
@txtblockcentral Glad you've found it useful! A couple of new features have been added recently to (1) retrieve random poems using /random and (2) limit the number of poems to retrieve using /poemcount
@DreamyHolden thank you - glad you have found it useful. probably too late to include as reference, but just in case: the concept and main contributions are by @thundercomb
@HenrietteRoued hi, sorry for the late response - yes poetrydb is still active. concept and main contributor: @thundercomb . happy to help if you have any questions
@PoeticaTechnica hi, thanks - it is now possible to build random searches eg. /author,title,random/Shakespeare;Sonnet;5 or simply /random for a single random poem. for more sophisticated cases also see: https://t.co/pjuu9fXuv5 . any questions let me know.
