A Quick Guide: Is the @DeLoreanLabs ($DMC) Airdrop Worth It?
Participation Index: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
Price Prediction: $0.015 - $0.03
Based on an initial valuation of ~$77 million
Giving it 4 stars is purely out of personal nostalgia. After all, <Back to the Future>was one of my favourite movie of all time.
Bullish:
1. Fantastic Brand Power:
No more words for <Back to the Future> and its legendary DeLorean. Team even got Professor X (Sir Patrick Stewart) to collaborate, which could bring in a huge wave of Web2 fans.
2. Top-Tier Strategic Backing:
The president, @EvanKuhn, successfully founded and sold Canada's first regulated exchange, which was later acquired by @wonderfi and is now part of Robinhood. The project itself has strategic partnerships with @SuiNetwork and the team behind it, @Mysten_Labs, providing elite technical credibility and ecosystem support.
3. Masterful Go-to-Market Strategy:
Just 2 hours after launching on Binance Alpha, it will also go live on Binance Futures with up to 50x leverage. That's top-tier project treatment. Bitget's Launchpool will also support the project.
Bearish:
1. Unknown Token Unlocks:
A huge red flag. The project has not announced any unlock schedule for the Team (12%) and Private Seed Round (16%) tokens. This is 28% of the total supply. If there's a dump, the ICO price was ~$0.006, so you can see that as a reference for the floor.
2. Project Execution Issues:
Bro, are you serious about actually making a car?
And you're planning to deliver the physical Alpha 5 EV in 2027.
Let's say you haven't made a car in 40 years, and now you're jumping straight into EVs.
3. Scared of Being Rugged by Web2:
There are way too many examples of Web2 brands coming to Web3 for a quick cash grab and then disappearing.
Let's skip those delivered properly like @Margiela. @BlvckParis, @dolcegabbana, @LouisVuitton, @emirates and many more still haven't been delivered yet.
Honestly, the token itself isn't that attractive. If any rich fams actually want to buy a fancy car, you might just wait and buy it directly.
A Quick Guide: Is the @Moonveil ( $MORE) Airdrop Worth Claiming?
Claim Index: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
Price Prediction: $0.08 - $0.12
Based on fundamentals and past competitor valuations, an FDV between $100M to $300M is expected.
I'm just a dumbass who bought 5 nodes, and it takes 4 years to unlock everything...
If I sound too mean, it's all because of love.
Bearish
1.A path of self-destruction:
Honestly, GameFi has already been proven to be a failed concept to me.
And Moonveil want to spend money to build a gaming L2?
By using the CDK from half-dead @0xPolygon?
2. Huge initial sell pressure:
At the start of launch, there will be massive unlocks from the airdrop (6% of total supply) and node rewards (5% of total supply). These low-cost tokens will likely be dumped immediately, creating huge sell pressure. I strongly advise against chasing the price at the open.
3. The games are just not fun:
They claimed that teams are from top gaming companies like Riot, Tencent, and Netease, and worked on hits like League of Legends and Valorant. But let's be real, your flagship game @AstrArk_World has less than 700k users after running more than a year. And I have completely unheard of @Bushwhack_World and Flaming Pets at all.
Bullish
1. Top-tier VC backing and "favorite son" treatment from Polygon:
Moonveil raised over $11M from VCs, including @TheSpartanGroup, @HashKey_Capital, and @AnimocaVentures. More importantly, it got an investment and official tech support from @0xPolygon Ventures (building the L2 with Polygon CDK) and plans to connect to the AggLayer, giving it high strategic importance.
2. Huge community support:
Besides $11M funded from VCs, Moonveil also raised nearly $11.38M from node sales. Its L2 testnet got around 1M active users in just 4 months without massive shilling from KOLs on X. This indirectly proves that project has a lot of loyal community users.
At last, just a little tip.
When they first started selling nodes, sales were a bit slow. The project team actually refunded a bit of USDT to every node buyer.
In another word, they know they need to pump the price and make the hype, not just force a sale.
A Quick Guide: Is the @NodeOpsHQ ( $NODE) TGE Worth Participating In?
Participation Index: ★★★☆☆ (3/5)
Price Prediction: $0.04 - $0.20
This price range is derived from the project's own points-to- $NODE token conversion model ($0.10 - $0.75).
Bullish:
1. Solid Fundamentals and Stable Revenue:
Unlike many Web3 projects that rely on hype, NodeOps is an established entity that has already achieved product-market fit (PMF) and is consistently profitable.
Its revenue for 2024 has already reached $2.5 million, and it is cash-flow positive. Subsequent reports indicate its on-chain annualized income exceeds $3.5 million. This shows the project doesn't need to sell tokens to sustain operations.
2. Backed by Top-Tier Investors and "Smart Money":
In May 2024, NodeOps completed a $5 million seed round led by L1D. its angel investors include JD Kanani, former co-founder of @0xPolygon, and Richard Ma, founder of the top security audit firm @Quantstamp.
Quick note, @rushimanche, that dombass, also invested.
3. Precise Strategic Positioning:
NodeOps isn't just a simple Node-as-a-Service (NaaS) provider; it positions itself as a "DePIN Orchestration Layer," aiming to become a unified platform for connecting and managing various DePIN networks.
Furthermore, the project has cleverly built its core network as an Actively Validated Service (AVS) on @eigencloud, hitching its wagon to the three hottest narratives: DePIN, AI, and Restaking. This demonstrates exceptional strategic vision.
Bearish:
1. Repeated TGE Delays:
According to the project's early roadmap, the TGE was originally scheduled for Q3 2024. It has now been delayed by nearly a year.
Although they claimed to avoid a bear market, such a huge delay feels like they're treat investors as suckers.
DYOR.
A Quick Guide: Is the @EchoProtocol_ ($ECHO) Airdrop Worth Claiming?
Claim Index: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)
Price Prediction: $0.05 - $0.3 Based on its competitors, Echo Protocol's current TVL of ~$878 million, and an initial airdrop circulation of 150 million tokens, my personal prediction for its initial circulating market cap is between $34 million and $100 million.
Ever since @babylonlabs_io broke my heart, I've lost all hope in BTCFi.
Bearish:
1. Serious Security Issues:
On June 14, Echo's official X account was hacked, and it took a full day to recover. At the same time, rumors started spreading online that an official wallet holding 2,515.65 uBTC (worth ~$266 million) was stolen, causing its collateralization rate to drop to just 20%, blah blah blah.
I wanted to see how the community was FUDing, but it was just deadly quiet.
2. Airdrop Sell Pressure & Unlock Risk:
A whopping 15% of the tokens are for the airdrop, with about half of that expected to be from Binance Alpha. Meanwhile, the share for loyal early participants who actually staked has a 3-month linear unlock.
The community is full of complaints and negative sentiment, increasing the likelihood of an airdrop dump.
Right now, besides Binance alpha and @kucoincom, there doesn't seem to be any confirmation of listings on other tier-1 exchanges.
3. The Grim State of the BTCFi Sector:
BTCFi is a FXXKING joke. I'm not going to mention their names but...
Anyone who has faith on BTCFi is a fool.
Bullish:
1. All-Star Investor Backing:
@EchoProtocol_'s investors are indeed a star-studded cast: led by @TheSpartanGroup, with top VCs like @ABCDELabs Capital and @CryptoHayes's @MaelstromFund also on board.
But here's a funny fact: @BSquaredNetwork and @movementlabsxyz, those two also invested in Echo. Not sure if that counts as a buff or a debuff.
2. Top Dog on Aptos:
With a TVL close to $900 million, it holds about 70% of the BTC asset share in the Aptos ecosystem, making it the undisputed leader by TVL.
To be saying, Aptos only has this one BTCFi project.....
A Quick Guide: Is the @Bombie_xyz ($BOMB) TGE Worth Participating In?
Participation Index: ★★★☆☆ (3/5)
Price Prediction: $0.01 - $0.015 (Corresponding to a $100M - $150M Fully Diluted Valuation)
OR $0.008 (Corresponding to an $80M FDV based on the @kucoincom Spotlight price).
This month, TGEs have generally performed better than airdrops. Personally, I was tempted to give it 4 stars, but let's start the analysis as usual.
Bullish:
1. Top-Tier Game Studio:
The development team is the renowned Pluto Studio, which created the GameFi blockbuster @Catizenai, boasting over 37 million users and $26 million in revenue. This means the team has proven experience in user growth, monetization, and ecosystem building, which is the biggest fundamental support for @Bombie_xyz.
2. Incredible Money Printer:
As the second title in the series, Bombie has already amassed over 12 million users and generated more than $20 million in revenue. Especially in the notoriously difficult Japanese market, $804 ARPPU is quite remarkable.
3. Strong Exchange and Ecosystem Support:
As the first project on the relaunched @kucoincom Spotlight, it has gained significant market exposure and credibility. Confirmed listings include @kucoincom, @Bybit_Official, and @bitgetglobal. MEXC and Bybit have also enabled pre-staking for it. Simultaneously, it has official support from the @ton_blockchain and @KaiaChain public chain foundations.
Bearish:
1. Trust Issue:
The project has repeatedly changed their TGE deadlines. Even after the official @TON_blockchain account announced that TGE will held in May, they still delayed it.
Not just the delays, no apologize from the team and their attitude is quite terrible.
And I have to say, although the team is great at making games, they know absolutely nothing about protect token price. $Cati has fallen over 90% from last year's high.
2. Massive Potential Sell Pressure:
A staggering 70% of the tokens will be used for a community airdrop, which means huge sell pressure at launch.
How do they plan to handle it? Besides regular staking system, the team made a sequel where you can use this token to play the next game.
Dude, I'm here to make money, you really expect me to keep playing your dumb game?
A Quick Guide: Is the @leagueoftraders ( $LOT) TGE Worth Participating In?
Participation Index: ★★★☆☆ (3/5)
Price Prediction: Unknown
As the first TGE under Binance's new alpha rules, and with a large number of bots being banned, I personally don't think there will be a huge number of participants.
Bearish:
1. Competing with the Big CEX:
Although LOT has partnered with many top-tier exchanges, the problem is that all of these exchanges have their own native copy-trading functions.
Unless you can tell me I can copy-trade @thankUcrypto, then I might consider it.
2. Token Selling Pressure Risk:
The tokens for the Seed, Private, Team, and Treasury rounds (totaling 39% of the supply) will all begin to unlock in the 6th month after the TGE, which is this coming January. This is one of the most lenient vesting schedules for VCs I've seen recently.
However, for us retail investors, it means concentrated selling pressure.
3. Number One Socailfi in Korea?:
You might think it's a trading app, but it's actually "South Korea's #1 social trading platform".
But to be fair, community management is currently handled by @Community3_, and the Telegram and Discord channels are full of English speakers.
So, where are the Koreans??
Bullish:
1. Quality VC Backing:
The project received $2.4 million in funding from @Bybit_Official's venture arm, @Mirana, and @C3VentureCap.
Not a small amount, but it's not exactly a huge sum either.
2. Unique Aggregator Advantage:
Its core value proposition is acting as a neutral aggregator that can connect and display a user's assets and trades across multiple exchanges (currently supports 11, including Binance and Bybit). This is a unique feature that no single exchange can replicate, forming its core moat.
