Feb 23, 2023 was the 75th anniversary of the first dialysis in Quebec. In Oct 1947 the Kolff dialysis machine arrived in Montreal, followed by Dr. Nanny De Leeuw, a student of Dr. Kolff. She and her team performed the 1st dialysis at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
