6 months ago, I started my video podcast.
I went all in.
Now I have a:
• New business
• Growing network

Here are 7 reasons why you should start a video podcast today:

Calling all INTROVERTS!
I'm building a new course to help my fellow introverts overcome social anxiety and get their vision off the ground.
If this sounds like you, I'd love to chat!
Thanks! 🙏
(p.s. If this applies to your community, I'd be grateful for a retweet!)
@HustlingForever I just did an exercise in finding my ideal client avatar. To do this I had to dig up my own deepest trauma.
If your brand isn't aligned with your own story, what are you even doing?
@tykeller_ I can tell you 39 is a massive motivator 😅
There doesn't need to be a mid-life crisis if you have meditation, but a mid-life hussle is a must. 😤
Most people quit because they don't see results.
Yet if you plant a garden, you will keep watering it.
Why?
Because you ACCEPT that a garden's growth is slow.
A podcast is like this.
Don't start if you don't accept it.
My easy/pro "tallking-head" setup:
• Camera with short HDMI cable to a cheap video capture card, direct into computer via USB.
• Sure MV7 mic into computer via USB.
• Camera and mic on table right in front of monitor (with notes).
• Record into Descript
It just works.
I see my podcast guests as clients.
Even though I am essentially working for free, I try to deliver them the best product I can: An episode that serves their needs.
They are more important than the audience.
How much of the content on Twitter would you consider to have high value?
I'll admit, a tweet like this one doesn't add much.
Community building, perhaps. But it's not life-changing.
And I see MANY tweets like this.
The Buddha would call this idle talk.
@JamesonCamp Hatred is hatred. It always pollutes the mind.
Society is so foolish, blaming the wealthy for their own problems. Even if it was their fault, hating them only makes your own life worse. Better to focus on your own actions.
I'm about to make a big financial investment in a course.
I can do things myself. I'm motivated. The information is out there.
But I know the value of systems.
And mentorship.
Wish me luck! 😤
I'll go first.
I've been an introvert my whole life, but through meditation and learning social cues, I'm becoming more of an "ambivert" (or extroverted when I choose).
But still definitely leaning toward introversion.
