Four Days With Family Is a Crime in BANK OF MAHARASHTRA

25th Dec is Christmas
26th is Friday.
27th-28th is Saturday-Sunday.

If bankers get Friday leave That means bankers might get FOUR DAYS with their families.

And that, it seems, is unacceptable to the DZM of Bank of Maharashtra, Navi Mumbai Zone.

So #K_Manikandan (AGM/DZM) issues an order:
➡️ No leave on 26th December
➡️ Already sanctioned leave CANCELLED immediately

Let’s be honest, this has nothing to do with pendency.
This has nothing to do with targets.
This is about control and intolerance.

The crime?
👉 A banker spending four days at home
👉 A banker having a life beyond targets

This is the mindset:
Enjoying festival + weekend = indiscipline

Across the world, employees shut offices till New Year.
In Bank of Maharashtra, a DZM loses sleep imagining staff with family.

If quarter-end pressure exists, ask:
❓ Why wasn’t work planned earlier?
❓ Why is incompetence at the top punished at the bottom?

Cancelling approved leave is not leadership.
It is institutional harassment.

This is a Public Sector Bank, not a plantation.
Staff are employees, not bonded labour.

Regulators must intervene.

Understand the value of the vote from this story! Sialkot was a Hindu dominated area. Still it was decided whether to keep it in India or in Pakistan, it would be decided by referendum. When voting started, Muslims were the first to stand in line and cast their votes. The Hindu community did not come to vote, 1 lakh Hindus did not vote at all.

The result was that Sialkot joined Pakistan by 55,000 votes. In 1946, the population of Hindus in Sialkot was 2,31,000, out of which 1 lakh did not vote. And when the turn of Direct Action Day came, Hindus were massacred. In 1951, the Hindu population in the same Sialkot reached 10 thousand and in 2017 only 500 Hindus were left in Sialkot.
