@tompfoster@techtoby__ But no way would you want to buy a house for 4- 500k plus that needs major work and neither would you want to buy very cheap when the area also offers nothing. IMO most people wanting nice is attributed to price being paid. I wouldn't expect a 100k house to be nice
@tompfoster@techtoby__ You live in a poor area with poor amenities where do you get your food from? How can you commute? What's the school's like or is there a good GP nearby? Im not talking about cafes but the necessary features a area needs to grow.
@tompfoster@techtoby__ I don't necessarily agree that the house has "needs" to be nice. A decent condition yes but would i expect it to be perfect, no. But most people wont move to an area where they need to do a major fix while the area around them also offers nothing.
@tompfoster@techtoby__ There's probably a very valid reason a "WHOLE street" wasn't occupied. 1 or 2 people moving in but still being surrounded by poor amenities and area wont change it
@OmarAlleyne Resignation? In this economy? Its like being between rock and a hard place right now. Even if you have savings leaving a role and then having to go through job hunting with how things are is a dire situation
@PhilBlundell@TomLoft1991 Surely playing Rio and letting him figure out how to play prem regularly and when to release the ball to become effective is a more productive use of time than picking a clearly brainless player week in and week out. I totally get why Salah would make a fuss watching that
@Nabyllionaire If he followed slots instructions he'd be back passive like everyone else instead of winning the ball high up the field. We need more of it
