Underappreciated aspect of this innings is that at one point Stokes was 3* (73). To completely change pace like he did, in the highest pressure situation possible, all while perfectly managing the strike against that bowling attack… the greatest innings ever in my opinion.
@HLTCO Can’t stand Jim but other than a select few, TalkSport is awful. No genuine debate, it’s just two people arguing completely opposite points, to the point it’s so obvious. Proper debate would be more interesting, people are bound to have differing opinions without forcing it.
@Stew_Wills@FootyAccums I think clear and obvious means different things to some as well. Clear contact, yes, but is every contact a foul? No. So not an obvious error.
This one wasn’t as bad as some but there is always so much shouting on the VAR videos when released. It sensationalises it all.
