I spent months sorting through a lifetime of my parents things.

Thier home sold last week.

My son has his contractors license. He chose to go work at an industrial electrical shop because they needed somebody with his level of expertise.
And yeah, thatโs for a week.
He told me those hours were short-term until that section of the industrial building is finished.
Heโs in his mid 30s and yes, his house is paid off. Actually, he bought it for cash.
It took my son five years to become a journeyman. Four more years to get enough hours in to take the supervisors test.
Every year of his apprenticeship, his wages went up.
I think his last year of apprenticeship he made 75k.
He went to work for an industrial contractor in the Midwest.
