Вчора в Україні стався найбільш масовий протест із часів Революції Гідності: у Києві вийшли тисячі учасників ходи, а орієнтовно 30 міст також провели ходу або акцію на своїх головних площах.

Під час оголошення тривоги в Києві протестувальники не захотіли розходитися й скандували: «Стоїмо і будемо стояти».

Таку величезну кількість людей неможливо не почути. Тож мене дивує, що президент продовжує ігнорувати свій народ. Це вже є інституційною проблемою, адже саме відсутність комунікації стала першопричиною цієї кризи. В суспільстві накопичуються фрустрація та злість, і наразі абсолютно незрозуміло, як настільки дезорієнтована держава буде входити в обіцяну важку зиму.

Найвищими органами влади (особливо під час війни) повинні керувати люди, які мають чіткий план дій і можуть продемонструвати реальні результати.

Пане Президенте, звертаюся до вас із проханням виконати вимоги свого народу, щоб нам більше не довелося скандувати гасла під звуки сирен. Ви маєте завершити протести, повернувши Федорова до МО.

Tragically, tonight, the people of Ternopil suffered the most from Russian aggression in this massive attack. As of now, we know that this strike by Russia has claimed 25 lives, including three children. Once again, the Russians have killed innocent, peaceful people who were simply sleeping in their homes. My condolences to everyone who has lost family members and loved ones. 93 people have been injured. They are receiving medical care. There are still people trapped under the rubble, and first responders are continuing search and rescue operations.

Russia will never stop on its own. Their goal is to continue killing and destroying life in Ukraine. Only strong pressure on the aggressor can stop this. Every life matters. Russia escalates its terror against Ukraine and this needs to get a strong response from our allies.

For the first time, more than 800 (!) drones and missiles overnight. Civilians killed and injured, civilian infrastructure damaged in Kyiv, Odesa, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, among other cities.

For the first time since the beginning of full-scale war, Russia damaged the Ukrainian Government building in Kyiv. This alone is a serious escalation.

The greatest cynicism is that these brutal attacks come just as President Trump makes every effort to achieve peace. But instead of reciprocating these efforts and agreeing to a leaders’ meeting, Putin rejects diplomacy and escalates terror.

Only pressure on Moscow can end its escalation of terror. The Russian war machine runs on oil and gas revenues. We urge our allies to defund it in order to end the war.

Russian terror “anti-records” require strong responses. New severe sanctions on Russia and new strengthening for Ukraine, particularly in air defense. Waiting will not bring results—action is needed now.
