To Louisiana voters, please know your votes were not in vain and it is not your fault if you voted NO. This issue is not a Democratic or Republican one because they were on the same side, but voters like YOU can change the narrative by using your superpower.
The GOOD NEWS. The fact Louisiana voted NO to ending slavery in Louisiana when 4 other states passed it with a YES is now all over the world. It has been seen on @BBC, @RollingStone, @TheDailyShow, @jimmykimmel, and many more.
THE VOTES ARE IN. Amendment 7 did not pass The People's vote and slavery continues for punishment for crime in Louisiana. However, this is what we want The People to know.
In 2021, the Anti-slavery bill HB196 died in the first committee hearing due to our legislators.
So let me get this straight: the supposedly "pro-life" states with the most restrictive abortion laws, also have the weakest social services for women and children?

@cvspharmacy seems to be filling the 2nd abortion pill without issue, btw, so if you're in Louisiana go there. But @walgreens, I'm sure you have a team of lawyers, please fix this asap. Patients need this 2nd pill in order to have a safe & effective @abortion. 3
Unsure if this is because (1) @Walgreens issued a directive not to sell the #abortionpill in La. that hasn't been updated since the Monday #triggerban#TRO, (2) the prohibition to sell the 2nd pill is blanket, or (3) individual Walgreens employees are refusing to fill the Rxs 2
