We have an 8000 year-old culture to showcase and yet while one city - Paris - attracts 25 million foreign tourists a year, an entire country - India - gets 11 million. We haven’t plucked the lowest-hanging fruit. We are watching it rot.

@jasveer10 This comes from a limited understanding of marriage and how it evolved. Divorce is largely a legal and social institution today; historically, even polygamy existed in many societies. Not everything today needs normalizing. Children need stable families for the well-being!

@RamyaDpalani Exactly my thought as well. Do they actually take a few hours off or even take leave just to watch a celebrity walk by and greet them? Why spend your precious time on something that probably holds the least value in your life?
