🚨BREAKING: Darlington nurse, Bethany Hutchison and nurse Jennifer Melle are set to give evidence in support of Sandie Peggie's case against the Royal College of Nursing.

The case begins in Dundee tomorrow.

Sandie, an RCN member for around 30 years, alleges that the world’s largest nursing union discriminated against her because of her gender-critical beliefs by failing to provide adequate advice, support or legal representation after NHS Fife suspended her for objecting to a transgender doctor using a female changing room.

Bethany and Jennifer will give evidence about their own experiences of seeking support from the RCN.

Sandie said: “I never wanted to be in a position where I was suing my own trade union. Whilst this is regrettable, it is a legal battle which is necessary in order to highlight the extent to which gender ideology has taken hold of the RCN and has been used to silence and malign members standing up for women’s hard fought sex based rights.”

Andrea Williams, chief executive of the Christian Legal Centre, which has supported the Darlington and Melle cases, said: “The evidence of Bethany Hutchison and Jennifer Melle will show why Sandie Peggie’s case matters to nurses across the country.

“These are dedicated and compassionate nurses who expected their professional body to defend them without fear or favour. Their experiences raise serious questions about whether the RCN has placed adherence to gender identity ideology above its duty to represent members who hold entirely lawful and protected beliefs.”

Today a manager from bradford childrens trust came to see me and informed me that they will no longer be funding emergancy housing for me after the 1st of october and I have until then to find permanent accomidation or return to my old house which they know isn't safe and will cause "real and understandable worry for me", as they put it.
When they moved me into temporary accomidation, they assured me this woukd be one property from now until I found permanent accommodation. Instead they moved me to 3 different places in as many weeks and now are withdrawing it.
The only option they did give me was a house 10 mins away from my previous home, in the same area with the same risks.
I have been on the phone to other councils today to see if they will accept me as homeless and place me in a hostel with my children and I found out on the 29th, 2 days before the deadline, if they will. If they don't, im not sure yet what we will do.
never imagined that after everything my children and I have been through, I would be in a position where the choices being presented to us are returning to somewhere I do not believe is safe, moving back into the same area where those risks remain, or potentially becoming homeless.

Kemi Badenoch could restore the fortunes of the Tories simply by standing firm on two issues that affect half the UK population: women.

One is putting a stop to the continuing arrival of large numbers of unvetted migrant men from countries with deeply regressive attitudes towards women and women’s rights.

The other is the trans issue, where women’s sex-based rights and safeguards are being brushed aside in favour of cross-dressing men.

These two issues alone are huge. They directly concern half the electorate, yet all the parties on the left are on the wrong side of both.

It isn’t ideological. It’s common sense: controlled immigration, women’s rights and proper safeguarding.
