bill--i have a slightly different view--with respect to what we define as "space" is it not another failure of the Federal system that allows a company to eclipse the role of government? We landed on the moon in 1969 led by NASA. And yes Rockwell and other tech companies were integral but it was a NASA operation. That's not what's happened today. Musk has cleverly positioned his company to fill the void. Its also important to note a similar case can be made for how Ai is being built-out
Given the US/Israel attacks on Iran, the governing system which includes the clerics, ruling elites and IRGC is no longer unified. Understanding how precarious their position is, these power centers are stealing as much money as possible. This is done through the oil market. The only way to end this conflict (not a war,) and force Iran into a settlement, (we shouldn't call this a "deal,") is by literally shutting down their shadow export system and carefully cripple their oil/gas infrastructure. I agree with those who say its impossible to disable the Iranian oil expert scam without further military action and this may well mean boots on the ground. The remaining Iranian power centers will never give-in. They've been controlling one of the major energy exporters for 40 years, why would they leave now?
and, for what its worth...on the other end of the court the Spurs got a similar easy bucket when Josh Hart didn't box-out...lastly, had OG's tap in not worked, Towns was also in perfect position with 1.5 left on the clock...The Spurs decided to have Wemby out on the arc and didn't have other power forwards inserted to defend the rim
@BillAckman Bill, I was wondering if you were going to announce that, upon announcing his retirement from the NBA, you're hiring OG Anunoby as a Partner at Pershing Square
hey Jake, your post is uncharacteristically kind...Trump, (and his HIll legis team) have really not done a good job in either House of Congress...With a handful of exceptions, Trump does not seem to like Congress. Hell, even not trusting legislators his mantra of talking to even his most hated global enemies does not apply to Capitol Hill. Of course, this is a mistake...
@DMVAdventures the Rockville store is run by a family member, not a franchise...Armonds started at Tenley and was a great spot for beers and pizza after softball games...Armonds will be missed
get the feeling he just doesn't care? My guess is he doesn't really listen to anyone in Congress, House or Senate...DNI is a coordinator of the IC. DT wants to greatly reduce its staffing...had he announced a reform/reduction of the DNI before the Pulte news it might also have gone better
EDITORIAL DOUBLE STANDARD: When I was a senior investigative correspondent at CBS News (2019–2024) I was stunned by how little due diligence some colleagues did on Southern Poverty Law Center's claims....
Versus their “attack dog” mentality applied to right-leaning non-profits and think tanks.

focus on the stories of 60 Minutes, not the talking heads who read questions written by people like me (producers behind the scenes,) who listen to reporters regurgitate words they wrote. Has anyone watched the wonderful Jim Brooks movie "Broadcast News" It was released in 1987 and is still wonderfully accurate today
To Anthony and Mike....you're disruptors but are clueless as to how you're being played in DC by legacy interests. Your ignorance has damaged BTC and crypto. It will similarly hurt the Ai buildout. It is absolutely amazing to me that sophisticated investors in NYC and SVA seek to alter (literally) every business model on planet Earth yet, either completely ignore DC or worse still hire people who have never been trained as investors...who have never taken a risk in their lives...and as Zuckerberg famously said, have never broken anything. The Federal system was designed to be adapted...but you guys are running an advocacy playbook based on Watergate, yet you have the temerity to complain. Shame on both of you. And yes I know how to get you what you want
