@ChristoPhraser I think there's an issue with people being pinged when it doesn't make sense. It makes them lose confidence. I was isolating with covid and got pinged the day after it ended. App told me I was exposed in the middle of my isolation and unwell with covid, which is impossible?!

@sajidjavid What's going on with this covid app? Just finished a 10 day isolation and actually had covid. Next morning app says was exposed and need to isolate for another 5 days. Only thing is 5 days ago I was isolating in my flat, with covid! No wonder people are deleting!

@CarolineLucas There's also something wrong with the app. I just ended a 10 day isolation after actually having covid and got pinged to say I'd been exposed on 3rd July and needed to isolate for 5 days. But on 3rd July I was in my flat, isolating, with covid. So now I'm likely to ignore it.

@anhall08 @NHSCOVID19app I'd just test and ignore it. I've just had a close contact ping myself saying isolate got 5 says. Except on the exposure day, I was already isolating and actually had covid, so something isn't right. Not a legal requirement to isolate anyway from app. I'd just test and be aware
