Andrew Wold, the Iowa landlord that owned the apartments that collapsed in Davenport and is currently building himself a $2,000,000 castle, gives his tenants a bit off their rent if they'll do work for him and paint over mold in his properties.

Said he has been paid to “paint over mold,” and did it for money off rent but “I told the residents what I did.”

Resident says he is not a contractor, not qualified at all for that type of work.

After the press conference, the city changed last week’s inspection from Pass to Fail, proof they’re still trying to hide things and destroy evidence. They also added a name of who inspected the building. #Davenport

i really think we’re underestimating the effects all the collapse of major media outlets are having on our daily lives. it’s scary for npr to drop their multiple shows and presence on twitter or for buzzfeed news to be shutting down. it’s evidence of what is to come next
