@physicsgeek Biden's lawfare--what hallucination.
Biden kept on a Trump prosecutor to go after his own son (regardless of the later pardon). He prosecuted Dems. His team slow-walked the obvious Trump prosecutions (election theft, classified docs) b/c of fear of looking partisan.
@BiblicalBeauty@conservmillen Trump did try to steal the 2020 election by many means, and he admittedly stole top-secret classified docs (his excuse was that he "had the right") that included nuclear secrets. Anyone else would have been in prison for those offenses.
@memeticsisyphus In this case, the cousin is correct on the merits. He has always been a psychopath who didn't care about other people:

@deanwball That was cool, but don't forget that Trump 1 has a huge talent problem b/c of the political screening. Half the people are there b/c they were on Fox News or a podcast. This is much less impressive than a high-level job in literally any other White House (including Trump 1).
@Vermeullarmine@ix_sir@petespiliakos The actual politicization of the Trump docs case is the reverse of what Adrian thinks. Literally anyone else would have been treated far more harshly.
The only reason Trump is walking free is b/c the Biden administration was so reticent even to start an investigation.
@Vermeullarmine@ix_sir@petespiliakos If no one is allowed to mention the fact that Trump did indeed steal top secret docs and lie about giving them back (he never denied it! he just claimed he had the right!), then your position is that ex-Presidents are completely above the law even in cases of murder?
@nonsequitur2787@TomJChicago Also nonsense. If Trump had any evidence to think that the Epstein stuff was fake, he would release THAT evidence. But he's not. He's desperate to change the subject, to say Epstein is "boring" (!!!), and even to denounce any of his own supporters who care about Epstein.
@nonsequitur2787@TomJChicago The problem with this stupid conspiracy theory is that Democrats had no problem going after Trump in multiple cases (trying to steal the election, stealing top secret docs, etc.). So they faked evidence as to Epstein, but then just forgot to use it?
@DerBrauns@bonchieredstate Amazing how many commenters here don't know how to google anything. The IRS has a whole system for letting illegal immigrants pay taxes:

@chamath@christopherrufo How does Harvard make a deal with someone who has no principles and no realistic demands, and who is just lashing out from a sense of grievance?
@InezFeltscher@aimeeterese It was wise for Lincoln to be magnanimous in victory. There's no reason today to be sympathetic towards people who still pine for a slavery regime that ended 160 years ago. Those people are irredeemably stupid.
@JoshDaws@DngrslySkptcl@williamwolfe Not sure if Wolfe's theological convictions include Matthew 6:5-6, but "praying" while actually posing for a picture as a political stunt is definitely not what Jesus recommended:

Or, just as an alternative, the Trump Administration could stop doing things that are wildly illegal. The 1798 act used here applies only when there is "a declared war between the US and any foreign nation."
Has there been a declaration of war on Venezuela? No.
