@AisArchitecture @aberdeenuni@routledgebooks Ah, thank you!
Huge fan of Tim Ingold. Grateful to be able to share this interview with architecture students when attempting to get these ideas across.
@AisArchitecture @aberdeenuni@routledgebooks While looking for a robust permalink for this wonderful episode to share with students, I noticed that your website is down (and this platform sadly doesn't allow me to DM you to say so).
Moment #1. The Good Ancestor exhibition: I began by opening an exhibition on future generations — a powerful reminder of our duty to be good ancestors.🇪🇺
Through art and culture, we are called to imagine and build a world that is fairer, more sustainable, and more inclusive for those who will come after us.
Great to have this exhibition on display in Europe. The projects showcased are from all around the globe and the effort to assemble it was truly international.
As @brianeno/@dark_shark and #BetteA put it: "art makes feelings happen". This is vital if we are to be #goodancestors.
Today, on the European Day for Solidarity Between Generations, we are reminded of those generations that don't yet have a seat at the table.
We joined together in a series of powerful moments:
➡️Opening of the UN exhibition “Good ancestors” on future generations at the European Commission.
➡️ Dialogue at the European Parliament on how to build a fairer, more inclusive Europe.
➡️ A high-level exchange with The Elders, bridging global wisdom with local action.
➡️ A visit to CALICO, a co-housing project bringing generations together under one roof.
Now we’re working on the first-ever EU Strategy on Intergenerational Fairness.

We invite you to come by & send a postcard to be discovered centuries from now!
@Wudpecker_io Is there any way I can stop Wudpecker from joining all my calls without deleting my account?
I don't want to completely abandon your service, but I cannot continue having to apologise to people when an AI bot turns up like a stalker in a meeting I can't attend!
Next, architect and designer Christopher Daniel (@polysemic) takes us to the White Horse of Uffington, a 3,000-year-old piece of land art and testament to the power of maintenance.
Trying to sign up on the @PlacesJournal website and I've tried about eight different combinations of numbers, symbols, lower and upper case letters, none of which pushed the password rating beyond "medium". I commend the commitment to data security, but this is ridiculous!
Stuck in @HeathrowAirport T2 after @lufthansa cancelled my flight at short notice with nothing offered except "our apologies".
The least they could offer is complementary lounge access, but... no. The branding is shared when they want it to be, but not when it might help us.
Dropbox, iCloud and Google Drive all just WORK. They have their hiccoughs, sure, but generally they just sit there as the invisible infrastructure of the workflows of each of my teammates (whether individually or together).
