If you run a PLG motion on @HubSpot, your CRM and your product are telling two different stories.
HubSpot can handle PLG.
It was not built for it.
Designed around contacts and deals.
Product data lives in custom objects you configure and maintain yourself.
Every usage signal is a layer of middleware to manage.
The specific problem.
In PLG the unit that matters is not a contact.
It is the account and the people using the product inside it.
HubSpot has no native Workspace or User object.
You build it yourself.
@attio ships both as standard objects.
Users are people in your product.
People are your contacts.
Keep them separate and a champion keeps their full history even when they change jobs.
Product behaviour and sales context in one place.
Connect through Segment by @twilio or your warehouse via @HightouchAI or @polytomic.
Workspace crosses 80% of its seat limit.
Expansion play fires before a rep would have looked.
Free user invites four teammates.
Flagged as a PQL while intent is warm.
Usage drops for two weeks.
Churn risk task opens while there is time to act.
Not reports you check.
Signals that find you.
HubSpot can be configured to run a PLG motion.
Attio was designed to run on one.
Our @saastr 2026 booth is almost ready!
We'll be there Tuesday May 12 and Wednesday May 13.
Come by and say hi! We're at booth S011 in the East Hanger, right next to the social co-working area.
Your CRM data is only valuable when you can combine it with everything else.
I just showed how to pipe @attio → BigQuery in under 10 minutes using @polytomic

When setting Salesforce relationships, you can now tell Polytomic how to deal with invalid relationship IDs:
- Alert on the bad records with errors.
- Ignore the invalid relationship ID but sync the rest of the record.
- Omit the full record from your sync.
"With Polytomic, support is proactive and genuinely impressive. They've quickly become our go-to recommendation for clients who value reliability, scalability, and longevity in their data stack." - Uttam Kumaran, Founder and CEO of Brainforge.

Announcing our case study with @brainforge_ai!
Brainforge is a data consultancy that helps high-growth companies.
They've used a number of ETL tools and found issues with fragmentation, lack of immediate support, lengthy integration implementation times, and clunky interfaces.
Brianforge replaced those vendors with Polytomic across their clients.
Why?
- One platform for ETL, Reverse ETL, and CDC streaming
- Multi-tenant workspaces eliminates the need for separate client logins
- Fast new integration delivery
- Real-time Slack support with engineers
On Thursday 6/19 we'll host a dinner for data leaders in Utah, right by Salt Lake City!
We're joined by @mitchellbwright, Head of Data and Growth at @boltdotnew
He'll share lessons from building a data function that can keep up with going from $0 to $40M ARR in just 5 months.
Polytomic now supports Domain Match when updating records in Salesforce.
If your source has https://t.co/90X1guTMW4 and Salesforce has https://t.co/A6us7sJoxj or https://t.co/tXTebkXnKj, we’ll match them. One less thing to clean or worry about.
Small improvement, big impact.
Polytomic Connect is our standalone API that lets you pull from and push to your customers' databases, data warehouses, SaaS apps, cloud buckets, and more.
We handle all auth for you, and now those modals have a dark mode option and can be white-labeled with your company's logo!
