Even Chinese BL actors do fixed pairings. They’ll debunk dating rumours when necessary, and when their contracts are over, they’ll simply part ways without making fans the villains or dragging things out unnecessarily. Why? Because they made money from the ship, and they appreciate the time fans invested in them….making edits, constantly trending hashtags, creating buzz, and keeping their names relevant.

You literally prayed for success, gave fans the blueprint, and practically encouraged them to ship you through your own actions. Then the next thing you say is, “We are limiting you,” or “You guys are doing too much.” I don’t blame you. It’s because people chose to like you and invest their time, energy, and money into supporting you… lol.

This is why I genuinely dislike series that caricature fans. You’re always saying fans see you as tools you can control, but you fail to acknowledge how you treat fans like nothing more than money-making machines. Then, when you’re done benefiting from them, you come online and open your mouth to call them delusional when you and your stupid company practically handed them all the materials needed to fuel those “delusions.”

If you don’t want fans to interpret your actions a certain way, then stop giving them the exact blueprint you’re later going to complain about. You can’t enjoy the benefits of fan investment and then shame the same fans for investing in you. Rubbish!!!
