To me, this screams "spiritual war." The (very literally) unholy union of communism (no personal responsibility, so no need for Jesus) and Islam (children of Ishmael who want to destroy everything God made).

Not saying America is "God's chosen nation," but western nations/values are the descendants of Christian values, and it makes sense the devil and his crew would want to crush them. It's why we see it in Europe too.
