Some texture traits highly alter the look and feel of each Ponk. If you're lucky enough to mint a Ponk that has a texture trait, and you don't like how it looks.. no worries.

I'm building a tool that will allow you to connect your wallet holding your Ponks, and adjust both the Overlay and Texture trait categories. This will allow you to remove those traits visually, if you prefer a cleaned up NFT. The traits will still exist on chain in the metadata, so this will not change the rarity of the NFT, it is simply a visual change for modifying how your NFT will look if you want to use it as a PFP.

All 3 Ponks below have the same traits, with the exception of the Texture trait category. The first 2 rolled a texture trait. The last one is what they look like using the Ponks pfp tool to strip the texture trait.

The 'Thermal' texture trait might be my favorite.

The traits underneath don't change, but the colors do. Anything with the same brightness comes out the same color, because a thermal camera doesn't see color, it sees heat. The texture reads the final pixels and repaints them on a heat ramp (blue, purple, red,
orange, yellow, white hot..). This means it lands differently on every Ponk. Dark background runs cold, bright one runs hot. Whatever is underneath decides what the camera sees.

Thermal is rare. Under 100 of the 3,000.
