I would add 'iconic circuits' to iconic venues (maybe you already imply it). We need to spice up the mix of triathletes, with all sort of strenghts, capable to win races. This is key to avoid spiraling down even further into boring wetrunning races.

This BBC report about a potential change of venue for the triathlon is incorrect, according to World Triathlon.

As previously stated, plan B is the contingency days, plan C would be duathlon.

I can't believe there isn't a contingency plan, although I'm sure (I want to believe) they will 'triathlon' no matter what.

Great racing in Abu Dhabi, but the sport has a problem when its leading athletes are giving interviews saying: 'It isn't my focus this year to be world champion.'

In what other professional sport do you ever hear that?
