Let me remind you why $TORUS is set to be one of the runners this cycle.

Quick tl;dr on Torus for our new readers: this piece will cover absolutely everything you need to know.
Torus Network is a self-assembling and evolving agentic peer-to-peer organism layer 1 founded by RenLabs.
Imagine an organic cyborg. At its foundation, it possesses vital organs, memory, and an immune system, all capable of integration and adaptation.
It can even incorporate new organs to enhance itself continually. This is the vision Torus strives to realize, where each "organ" is a swarm of AI agents and modules working in harmony to improve and evolve.

At the heart of these agents and modules lies "Stake." This root agent on the Torus Network governs token emissions.
Everything must pass through this agent, inseparably linked to the network.
Think of Stake as the genome of Torus, a library accessible to stakeholders, shaping how Stake manifests itself through stake-based control on-chain.
This structure fosters ongoing alignment with the stake root, prompting agents to naturally form a hierarchy through selective pressure and incentives from Stake.
Agents lower in the hierarchy, eager to earn rewards, will be compelled to align their choices with the objectives of the level above. This alignment will continue at each level until reaching Stake.
This means $TORUS stakers have full control of the direction the network is building to with weighted staking.
The current focus lies around predicting the future, more precisely, finding individuals who are specialized in some field and tend to be more 'right' than most.
This gives users a better idea of what to expect from an upcoming event and act accordingly to secure their edge.
This process is already in the works for X and is set to expand all over the internet to find the best alpha and allow events that may seem unrelated to be linked in seconds, making the future ever-more certain.
Renlabs has an incredibly impressive track record when it comes to its contributions to AI and blockchain in general. Most notably, releasing a paper that has had a huge impact on how $dTAO has become a reality.
Inspired, they launched their own chain for $TORUS to fully realize their vision and enhance their model.
Not only is this team incredibly skilled but they have over 2 years of runway for their 15 team members ensuring Torus will be built out to its fullest potential without the team needing to sell any tokens to sustain their development.
And given that more autonomous agents and outside contributions will streamline the development process, this is a real beast in the making and I haven't even talked about the tokenomics yet.
As described above, $TORUS stakers decide where emissions are emitted using weighted stake, making Torus a more advanced DAO.
$TORUS was launched with no pre-mine and no VCs. The only way to get your hands on these tokens is to buy them on the open market on Base. Afterward, users can decide to bridge their tokens to stake them or hold them on Base.
There is no lock-up period, so staking $TORUS feels like a no-brainer as you're earning >6% APY as a reward for putting your stake to use.
Inflation is extremely favorable and can be fully controlled by the DAO. The current emission schedule is set to emit all tokens over a 5-year period, with nearly 50% of tokens already in circulation, of which more than 50% is staked.
Add the fact that they have deep liquidity on Base, and only a doubling of total supply over five years makes $TORUS one of the most attractive I've seen to date.
PA has been heating up over the past days, currently sitting around a $35M market cap.
$TORUS might be the biggest sleeper bet this cycle, backed by one of the strongest dev teams I've seen and super attractive tokenomics.
This could easily go to a $500M market cap in a matter of weeks once people catch on.
I hope this post got you Torus-pilled.
These posts take a long time, so I'd appreciate it if you could like and retweet it.
small caps like TORUS have highest percentage upside potential
torus at $38.9M mcap, up 159% this week after mainnet v0.5 launch. base ecosystem rotation happening from solana creates favorable setup for 10-50x moves
tao at mid cap offers 3-10x with subnet ecosystem expansion and recent $7.5M purchase by nasdaq-listed oblong
sui at $11.48B gives you 2-5x but lowest volatility risk. comes with etf filings and $1.1B stablecoin ecosystem
risk scales with upside obviously. small caps can drop 80%+ just as fast as they pump
we had the best day in crypto history into the 2nd worst day in crypto history into trump potentially cancelling tarrifs and potential mineral deal?
only Barron could've made money in this environment
Torus Community Call: Intro and Q&A
On Sunday evening the Torus team jumped on the first community call since the @torus_network launched just a few short months ago. The call provided an introduction to the project, followed by a run down of developments to date, a detailed update from the teams at ETH Oxford and then a community led Q&A. The call lasted a little over two and half hours with the Eth Oxford content, so we're going to report on that separately. Below you'll find the edited recording, and a text summary of the community questions. Enjoy!
Q&A Text Summary: 👇
Blockchain and Agents
Q: Why is blockchain necessary for agents?
A: While single agents don’t necessarily need a blockchain, blockchains provide programmable incentives and a structured way to coordinate agents. They allow for decentralized control and economic organization beyond traditional bureaucratic structures.
Control and Delegation in Protocols
Q: How do protocols coordinate agents and permissions?
A: The protocol defines a control structure where agents have restricted access to wallets and other functions, ensuring secure delegation of tasks.
Differentiation from Other Agent Projects
Q: What sets this project apart from other agent-based projects?
A: Unlike most agent projects that operate with a closed backend, this project ensures an open, evolving market-driven system with recursive delegation of permissions and incentives.
Roadmap
Q: Do you have a roadmap?
A: There is a roadmap, but it has not been formally released yet. The focus is on implementing web-based delegation first, followed by further enhancements.
Need for L1 and L1+ Chains
Q: Why is an L1 blockchain needed instead of using existing infrastructure?
A: A specialized L1 allows the removal of unnecessary complexity and focuses solely on the core functions required for agent-based operations.
Retention of Agents and Swarms
Q: What keeps agents and swarms on the network?
A: The system fosters interdependence, creating natural dependencies between different agents, making it beneficial to stay within the ecosystem rather than move to other networks.
Internship Opportunities
Q: Do you offer summer internships?
A: Yes, internship opportunities will be available, particularly after the V1 launch.
Relationship Between Torus and Other Projects
Q: What is the relationship between Torus and Bittensor
A: Substrate architecture is quite rigid, if you want to implement extrinsics or just a config of any palette, it has to match the implementation, whether it's Polkadot, Kusama or Bittensor, so some code repetition is unavoidable. However, the actual runtime implementation, for example emission distribution, is completely unique to Torus.
Getting Started with Development
Q: How can someone with coding experience contribute and earn rewards?
A: Developers can engage with the community to identify demand. Initial contributions should focus on building agents that interact with other agents rather than solely user-facing applications.
Future of Autonomous Agents
Q: Why should people be interested in this project?
A: The project is pioneering new organizational models for decentralized systems, focusing on scalable alignment mechanisms and economic coordination.
Marketing Strategy
Q: What are the marketing plans?
A: The focus is on organic growth, spreading the core concepts through community engagement rather than large-scale advertising.
Exchange Listings
Q: Are there plans to list on centralized or decentralized exchanges?
A: The token is already available on Uniswap. A centralized exchange (CEX) listing is not a priority at this stage.
Grant Opportunities
Q: Are grants available for developers?
A: Yes, there is a grant application process for those developing complex projects.
Future Community Calls
Q: When will the next community call be?
A: Another call is planned in a couple of weeks, focusing on long-term projects within the ecosystem.
