@the_psyche_lab It’s because traditionally men have been the providers , women look for protection and financial security. Maybe that’s why the ratio is as u mentioned .
@the_psyche_lab As a counter arguement will u marry a bad looking girl . Arrange marriage setup men always look for fair , good looking women . Why is that so?
@the_psyche_lab My point is
A man earning 50 k who is responsible, emotionally supportive, hardworking and steadily progressing may be much more attractive as a husband than a man earning ₹2 lakh who is unreliable, controlling or contributes nothing at home.
@InfinityRedStar@the_psyche_lab Agreed . Some practise are difficult to change . Women opposing patriarchy are not willing to contribute equally in family .
@MadanKulbh20244@the_psyche_lab Not always . Most of them yes . Women with such income are strong minded . The are not waiting for a man to fulfill their wishes
In the case of Sambhav Jain, it’s honestly disturbing how quickly people have started blaming his ex-wife without even knowing the complete story.
A man goes through financial and personal struggles and suddenly the narrative becomes: “His wife was greedy,” “She pressured him,” “She ruined his life.”
We don’t know what actually happened inside their marriage, what the settlement involved, or what either of them went through. Yet people are already turning his tragedy into an excuse to vilify a woman.
You can acknowledge Sambhav Jain’s struggles without making his ex-wife the convenient villain.
Not every tragedy needs a woman to blame. Sometimes, we simply don’t know the whole story.
