@StanleyCohenLaw this political bs has existed since the class that benefited from the Shah’s corruption flew into Beverly Hills in 1979. Their “trauma” was choosing to move to 90210 instead of staying & fighting. They went from having 5 cars to 2 & no longer had private jets. Boo fucking hoo🎻🎻
I have a sister in Lawrence. She called me when they arrived & she wanted me to use my Arabic to help her make signs cheering them on during their practices.
Then she wanted to borrow my amazigh crown (tawzna)
I didn’t have “Kansan needing a Tawana” on my bingo card for 2026. But since we’re here, maybe I should start a virtual book club to get Kansans reading & discussing Fanon
@reblavoie I was on a zoom recently where someone who was perfectly good at using zoom- mute/unmute & all - & admitted they never use Email and don’t fully know how to use it. So yeah, if you can’t use Zoom properly maybe don’t communicate digitally at all until you figure some things out
@tparsi the question is will Iran keep talking to the US. Because US leadership has demonstrated it is not a reliable negotiating partner at best & at worst we are actively negotiating in bad faith/actively deceiving them.
@reblavoie OMG - I always tell people that Massachusetts is exibits A-G in the argument to defund the police.
But this case contains Exhibits A-ZZZ all by itself!
For @jadaliyya, @martasser has produced a major and extremely significant examination of the written record of the Bibi Si! Commissar for the Middle East, Raffi Berg.
"Raffi Berg: In His Own Words", Martin Asser's detailed excursion through the @BBCWorld written archive, complements the thorough investigation previously produced by @owenjonesjourno for @DropSiteNews and in my view entirely validates it.

I’m back on here strictly to share my work. For y’all who don’t know, I’m a journalist covering Arabic music and the emerging wave of artists in the Middle East, North Africa, and its global diaspora communities. Here are some stories I’ve worked on to give y’all an idea:
@History__Speaks As a Persian speaker, I agree. The whole language is beautiful/thinking of ways to sound beautiful! I’m Speaking in Arabic so much now & it’s much more about being witty & interesting. It really makes me miss Farsi, where beauty is the focus!
@arnesa_kustura I’m so sorry for your loss. There is nothing like the love of a fur baby & there’s nothing like the grief that comes with losing a fur baby. May you have the time & space you need to grieve & may she rest in eternal peace
@MouinRabbani Insane AI slop, but very on brand for Zionism. AI can’t tell truth vs lies, correct vs incorrect facts.
All AI does is regurgitate what its told. So AI will literally say something is true just because humans say it is true over & over. & that’s Zionism’s MO in a nutshell
@MouinRabbani I do wonder when they’ll hit rock bottom - maybe when they have to revert to grade school playground antics?
“ I know you are, but what am I?”
“ I’m rubber you’re glue.…” etc
Rest in power son of Palestine. Rest well, native fighter resisting the Jewish supremacist parasite colony. Rest with your ancestors, Mohammad Abu Saada.
Iran also contains a church that, according to legend, was built by 1 of the 3 wisemen upon returning from seeing baby Jesus. Because legend also has it that the wisemen were zoroastrian from Persia.
Iran also currently has the largest indigenous Jewish population in West Asia & Israel bombed a synagogue in Tehran in the latest attacks on Iran.
& Muslims have been digging out the synagogue rubble by hand per the request of their Jewish brethren. Because there were historically important texts in that synagogue & removing the rubble mechanically could destroy any texts that might have survived.
Muslims want those texts to survive. They want the synagogue rebuilt.
Oh and the only religious minority entitled by law to representation in Iran’s government is the Jewish population.
Iran is absolutely everything & everyone all at once going back millennia. & that’s why the US considers it a threat as long as it is not under the thumb of the US.
How dare they be so amazing without US input or permission!
Ugh
@shanaka86 I do feel like Iran is taking this situation as an opportunity to remind the Arab side of the Gulf that, no matter what Arabs tell themselves, it is Khaleej al-Fars: the Persian Gulf
@reblavoie@letstalkliveytc Seriously. I’m surprised to hear people haven’t had to pay. They are required to release the information. They aren’t required to do it at their own expense. I really don’t know why that’s hard to understand…
