"Satisficing (satisfy and suffice) is about considering a limited set of options, then choosing one that is good enough and move on to live our lives. About a year ago, Pope Francis appeared in St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican dressed like this: casually, without the usual papal white cassock.
It was one incident that generated different reactions from different quarters. While some criticized his decision, others didn't see any problem with it and even applauded it.
I belong to the latter group. Pope Francis, sick and frail, wanted the whole world to see the fragility of the human person and the humanity of of the Pope.
I consider that incident to be one of his last catecheses and that time, he taught without making any speech; just a simple gesture.
Like St Joseph, the husband of Mary who uttered no single word in the Bible yet taught a lot, Pope Francis in that instant, taught us that so much can be said without words.
May his soul continue to rest in peace🙏🏿

In 1969, when he was 32 and about to become a priest, Bergoglio (Pope Francis) wrote this small personal "Creed" he carried in his breviary for the rest of his life.
I printed this for my student who entered the Church two days ago on Easter Vigil, not thinking he'd die so soon.
