[Miles Brundage @Miles_Brundage]

Who called it losing chain of thought monitorability through opaque internal reasoning and not “weight, weight, don’t tell me”

[opt @poptimisticity]

they should make resets fungible!

less than two weeks ago I was drowning and wishing for a codex reset, now I have two of them that I'd love to give it to claude

@trickylabyrinth not needing to switch ui for most of the time is pretty nice. i’ve only started to use it yesterday so let’s see

[opt @poptimisticity]

@trickylabyrinth i kind of view it as “one for all” interface, where for instance in the same chat i can ask about the status of what’s going on in my x repo where a few agents are working and i can ask it to reschedule my doctor’s appointment

[opt @poptimisticity]

i swear they’ve cut down weekly limits on claude by over half, i was barely consuming 10% of weekly limits / day and now im hitting over 25% in a day. i really wish they made usage more transparent

[opt @poptimisticity]

oh no Salto

the highlight of IROS

[opt @poptimisticity]

if you told me there are two song titles based on soft drinks but neither is about coca cola, i’d be surprised that this is sufficiently interesting for me to be tweeting this out

@seconds_0 you’re only gated by what you think can be touched by software

[opt @poptimisticity]

sometimes you maniacally work

[opt @poptimisticity]

strange as it is, you smile more; be nicer; talk freely; enjoy food; yearning but it doesn’t feel bad

[hero thousandfaces @1thousandfaces_]

“extremely sleep deprived” + “in a really good mood” is a very strange combination of qualia. I don’t really know what to do

@gfodor I think you can still share it with your kids as a craft. The art and joy of it came from doing it not because it was economical, no?

[opt @poptimisticity]

@MostlyMonkey yeah

@tszzl @bayeslord do you think we'll ever have any approach to alignment that can offer guarantees?
