Intestinal epithelial cells face a difficult situation. Besides nutrient absorption, these cells need to separate the host from the outside world over a huge surface area. Yet these are not professional immune cells, which makes their task challenging.

When the COVID vacs started many people were under a lot of stress, it is interesting if this affected their protection. Did you test vaccine efficacy in short/long term yet? Can you do it with virus that can infect mice?
