At Texas State Solo and Ensemble contest, the Porter band came back with 7 medals - our record so far.

The PHS Brass Six earned a 1 at state, earning them the Bronze medal. Teddy Arocha earned a 1 at state on his solo, which earned him a gold medal.

Unforgettable moment. The seniors we witnessed grow for four years have now graduated. We went so many places together: Disney World, State Marching Championships, UT Austin, football games, the list goes on. Today is the day the class of 2018 left the greatest of shoes to fill.

Not only will Porter HS be the only school in our region with three competing bands, our sub-non-varsity band earned 2s tonight. LOTS OF POTENTIAL!!
