Can we just have @louisvirtel be the host of Jeopardy and call it a day? No one will be Alex Trebek, but at least Louis will bring the both the genuine love for the game and the general distain for the contestants that Trebek showed us on a daily basis.
lindsey graham was a warmongering psychopath who devoted his life to ensuring the murder of as many brown children as possible. we deserve an opposition party that prioritizes that aspect of his legacy over the fact that they were travel buddies
The most successful trick the elites ever pulled was making "Poor" a personality flaw instead of a systemic result. We live in a world where a guy who inherited $100M calls a teacher "lazy" because they can't afford rent. And half of you believe him.
People are upset about the World Cup because instead of bringing the world together it’s another reminder of how unjust the world is.
It’s not a conspiracy. A Somali referee was denied entry to the U.S., that’s a fact. The U.S. tried to swap Iran for Italy, and then mistreated the team, that’s a fact. The U.S. president made a call to reverse a red card for an American player, that’s a fact…
From discrimination and over-priced tickets, to commercial breaks and VAR issues, many people who have watched and enjoyed the World Cup since childhood are more than disappointed. The whole tournament was tainted from the beginning, starting with a fake peace prize to gratify the host country.
Egypt coach Hossam Hassan took another opportunity at Egypt’s pre-match press conference to double down on his solidarity with Palestine saying “anyone not in solidarity with Palestine doesn’t deserve to live or be human”
Socialism isn't "free stuff" it is literally just using your tax dollars doing something to benefit you and other workers instead of using it to buy a stadium for a billionaire. That's it. That's all it is.
Why do our ex-orphans bring their wild-born calves home to the Keepers?
We can't know exactly what's in their heads. But after ex-orphan Yatta first made the pilgrimage many years ago, nearly every ex-orphan mother has followed suit, and walked her newborn to the stockades, often within hours of giving birth, and introduce the calf to the people who raised her.
It's likely a mix of trust (the Keepers were her family for years), safety (the stockade compound is calm and predictable), and recognition (these are the people she knows). Whether she's actively imprinting her calf with that knowledge or just following her own instinct to come home, the calf grows up understanding that our Keepers and the dependent orphans are a part of their family too.

This is the same Kamala Harris who:
1. Refused to meet with Arab
and Muslim leaders in Dearborn
2. Had a Muslim Democrat (and former congressional candidate) kicked out of a speech before she went on stage (no, he wasn't protesting)
3. Had 2 hijab-weating Muslim women banned from a campaign appearance (again, not protesting)
4. Refused to allow a Muslim/Arab Democrat (who endorsed her) to speak on the convention stage
5. Silenced people in the crowd who called her out on her complicity with genocide
So good luck with all of this.
There should be no room for anyone who was part of the administration that began, supported, oversaw and funded the extermination of Palestinians and demonized anyone who spoke out against it. If so-called anti-genocide progressives give their support to Harris, or anyone who stood by the Biden admin, then it’s clear(er) that for our ‘left’ Palestinians serve as a rhetorical tool rather than a moral measure.
There’s somebody making $22,000/year in rural America going to bed right now that sincerely believes Donald Trump spent his whole day fighting for them.
She had a chance in 2024 to talk to us. Instead she said “I’m speaking” and had us kicked out of her rally’s. Her inability to do the right thing. Brought us another Trump term. We will not forget this in 2028. She can consider her presidential bid DOA
WATCH: IRAN’S HEAD COACH TO THE MEXICAN PEOPLE BEFORE LEAVING THE WORLD CUP:
♦️ "We are leaving this place, but our hearts and our presence remain here."
♦️ "The country and people of Mexico have become a part of all of us. We thank you for all this hospitality you have provided"
♦️ "We love the people of Mexico like our own homeland. This is the greatest achievement we are taking with us."
A Beautiful Message from Iran's Midfielder to Iranians
Saeed Ezatolahi:
Writing these few lines may be the hardest thing I have ever done. We all had a dream and fought for it with all our being, but this time it was not meant to be. I know that for many of our compatriots, these days are not only about football. Our dear people have endured difficult days over the past months and have borne much pain and worry; perhaps that is why, at times, even joy is not as simple as it once was. We too tried with all our hearts, but sometimes a person's strength does not match their hopes. If we were unable to give a smile to our dear people, believe me, no one is more saddened by this than we ourselves.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank all the people of Iran, in every corner of the world and with every viewpoint and every belief, for their support, love, prayers, and even their criticism. Wearing the national team jersey has always been and will always be the greatest honor of my life.
I would also like to sincerely thank the kind people of Mexico, especially the beautiful city of Tijuana. From the first day of our stay, we saw nothing from you but respect, kindness, and hospitality. The warmth of your hearts made us feel, in these difficult days, that we were not far from home, and I will never forget this kindness.
In the end, only one thing remains; Iran is the home of us all, and the homeland stands above any difference or any preference. I wish for a day to come when our people's share of life is more smiles, peace, and hope than tears, sorrow, and regret.
Forever, for Iran 💚🤍❤️
