This month last year, I unveiled my global collaboration with @Dior, celebrating the Men's Summer 2023 collection. An incredible moment to apply my talents in the world of art, nature, fashion, heritage, and technology. 🖤
The time has come to conclude our October competition🏆.
Among a pool of more than 200 participants, only 10 have been declared as victors.
Let's show our appreciation for these artists!👇
It is an honor to announce that "City Garden" has won the @nftdesignawards! This artwork captures my vision of nature in the urban landscape, symbolizing life, beauty, and hope in the cold and alienating city. Flowers are my refuge, https://t.co/YJvQl1Ofq6 #Matic#NFT#PolygonNFT
FDA APPROVES 100th KINASE INHIBITOR!
Diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in 1995 and told I had only 3 years to live, I started preparing for the end of my life. In August 1998, when no bone marrow donor could be found, despite my efforts of adding many thousands of potential marrow donors to the marrow registry, an experimental pill—what would later be called Gleevec (imatinib)—was offered to me in a phase one clinical trial, thanks to the work of physician–researcher Dr. Brian Druker and others.
Gleevec became the first kinase inhibitor approved for cancer, opening the door to an entirely new class of targeted therapies.
Over time, my leukemia went into remission, and that little orange pill moved from an experimental to standard treatment. Imatinib went on to treat not only CML but also other illnesses driven by similar kinases, including gastrointestinal stromal tumors, some forms of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and rare hypereosinophilic and myeloproliferative disorders.
Today, I am the world’s longest-living #Gleevec and tyrosine kinase inhibitor survivor, living decades beyond my original prognosis. Since Gleevec, the field has grown so much that the FDA has now approved the 100th small-molecule kinase inhibitor, showing how that first breakthrough helped shape modern cancer treatment, treat a great number of other types of illnesss, and save millions of lives.
I am blessed to be able to use my added years to encourage others to consider clinical trials and support research, so that more patients—have the same chance I did. #ClinicalResearch #clinicaltrials

Meet Alice Stokes Paul: Alice was an American Quaker, suffragist, feminist, and women's rights activist, and one of the foremost leaders and strategists of the campaign for the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which prohibits sex discrimination in the right to vote. Paul initiated, and along with Lucy Burns and others, strategized events such as the Woman Suffrage Procession and the Silent Sentinels, which were part of the successful campaign that resulted in the amendment's passage in August 1920. Paul often suffered police brutality and other physical abuse for her activism, always responding with nonviolence and courage. She was jailed under terrible conditions in 1917 for participating in a Silent Sentinels protest in front of the White House, as she had been several times during earlier efforts to secure the vote for women in England. After 1920, Paul spent a half-century as leader of the National Woman's Party, which fought for the Equal Rights Amendment.
Born on this day in 1885, South Jersey’s own Alice Paul helped change the course of history by fighting for women’s right to vote. Her courage and persistence reshaped our democracy and continue to inspire the work for equality today.
This is precisely how you should respond to a bullshit investigation.
“This new threat is not about my testimony last June, or the renovation of the Federal Reserve Buildings… this is a consequence of not following the preference of the President”
Donald Trump is scared out of his mind that Republicans are going to lose the House in the midterms, if not sooner given how fast things are unraveling, which is why he’s accelerating his authoritarian and fascist plans at a pace we’ve never seen before. This isn’t confidence, it’s panic. When power starts slipping, they don’t moderate, they rush to break the system before voters can stop them, and every single day this is starting to look a whole lot more like Russia, and we know how voting goes there.
George Conway: “Donald Trump is a man who represents all the things we teach our children not to be. He’s a liar. He’s a thief. He’s a molester. He has no remorse, no shame, no empathy. He has no loyalty to the law, to the Constitution. This man is the lowest character of all”
With Trump going full authoritarian on Venezuela-Greenland, ICE, and the Fed, the response has to be serious. Four Republican senators (Tillis, McConnell, Murkowski, Collins?) could announce they’ll caucus for now with the Dems to give them control of the Senate to check Trump.
BREAKING: Jerome Powell issues a DEFIANT message to Trump after his DOJ criminally indicted him. Powell rightly says that this is a politically motivated indictment because he refused to bend the knee to Trump. Retweet to stand with Chairman Powell!
Walz just said the quiet part out loud:
A medical professional tried to help the woman ICE shot, identified themselves clearly and an ICE agent replied, “I do not care.”
That’s not law enforcement. That’s a complete collapse of humanity.
Pastor: I saw ICE agents circling a young woman who appeared to be Hispanic. I said to this ICE agent, 'Take me, stop harassing her.' The agent got in my face, pointed a gun at me, and said, 'Are you afraid now?' To which I said, 'I am not afraid.' The next thing I knew, they were putting handcuffs on me, and they put me in the back of an SUV. I asked them if I was under arrest. They said to me, 'Well, you're white, you won't be any fun anyway.'
@WhiteHouse Just make sure not to approach an ICE Agent when he's doing his job, they have the authority to shoot you in the head 3 times and claim "self-defense"
That's right, ICE Agents are allowed to kill you.
