@AskPlayStation Trying to set up a Child account in Family Management and can’t get past verification (see pic). Been getting “server timed out” on all devices I’ve tried this with for 24 hours.

Chatted w/ customer service yesterday and they couldn’t solve it either.

I think our goal as indie devs is to stop making cheap/free stuff and instead make "gourmet" high price deluxe niche things. handcrafted not factory. only big biz wins at mass market "scale"

ie if games were food, you want to be a gourmet chef, not a competitor to mcdonalds

Interestingly, when people discuss LLMs and game NPCs, they mostly see only the conversational AI use case.

But there is another option: using LLMs to control NPC's behavior.

This would let NPCs interact with the game world (observe and act) and even talk to other NPCs, creating a more sandbox experience.

Late night thought:

If LLMs or AI trained on our words are a true threat, and if the most powerful models will be trained on the latest data…

Then maybe spreading love and empathy is the best AI safety method. Every time we say something positive, we make it likely for future models to predict something positive.

Maybe too simple, but I don’t care. I love you all.

In all seriousness though, I’m a fan of tactile, immersive UI in some places but find it tedious and slow in others. Sounds like you’re all in on it.

@RobertJALA @afox1984 Do you feel this way for all interactions or some specific ones? Aside from typing, I find pointers to be pretty responsive and efficient. Equivalent to a mouse in 3D space.

Atlantis is gorgeous, has fun and challenging holes, and the resolution boost in the latest update makes the whole game look even better than it already did. 👏
