Big fan of the book. The movie was a disappointment but there’s still some cool scenes. I agree that with the way the book is constructed, would have been a better series than a movie. I did see recently that a sequel is in development. If you haven’t already, check out Black Summer on Netflix.

@TheCinesthetic The story that I've heard is that the studio didn't allow Lynch final edit of the film and so he was not able to tell his vision of the story. So much so that he no longer wished to be associated with the film.
