The "Second Chance Act" passed unanimously by the GOP-controlled NC legislature one month after George Floyd is now, six years later, being cited as the justification to limit access to ALL mugshots in Wake County, which is ~10% of the state's population
If this restricting of mugshot access to in-person in downtown Raleigh is not what the Republican majorities intended, they should act quickly to clarify that mugshots are a public record, not an indication of guilt, and should be freely available to the public
🚨 JUST IN: Tom Homan just got emotional about violence against ICE then STORMED OFF from the press
"I can't even get a carton of milk at a grocery store without a security detail! WHY? Because I'm enforcing laws. IT'S PATHETIC AND IT'S DISGUSTING." 💯
"Guys — ICE agents are moms and dads TOO."
"It's not just an attack on the ICE agents, it's an attack on their spouses and children! No one knows that better than ME."
God bless Tom Homan. 🇺🇸
I have a lot of new followers today.
Welcome all! Last year, I went viral thanks to this [positive] piece written about me by @Chadwick_Moore in the New York Post.

Most people still talk about 2020 like it was a story about one man who couldn’t accept losing. That framing was never accidental. It was the easiest way to keep the real issue off the table.
The actual damage wasn’t that Donald Trump lost an election. The actual damage was that millions of Americans were left with the sickening possibility that their consent no longer determines who holds power in this country. That’s not a personal grievance. That’s a direct assault on the principle that government derives its authority from the governed.
When the system that’s supposed to translate the people’s will into leadership becomes untrustworthy, the injury doesn’t stop at the candidate who got the short end. The injury lands on every citizen whose vote was supposed to carry real weight.
The ballot isn’t just a counting exercise. It’s the mechanism by which “We the People” actually exercises authority over those who rule. Corrupt that mechanism, and you don’t just change an election result. You break the chain of consent that makes self-government legitimate in the first place.
That’s why the entire conversation was relentlessly dragged back to Trump’s reaction. A fight about one man’s ego can be mocked, contained, and eventually forgotten. A fight about whether the American people still get to decide who governs them cannot be dismissed so easily. So they made sure the second conversation never happened.
The presidency doesn’t belong to any politician. It belongs to the citizens who are supposed to grant temporary authority through elections they can actually trust. Once that trust is gone, everything else is just theater.

🚨 NC’s new budget just authorized MASS SURVEILLANCE on every state highway and backroad! The SBI can now track drivers with AI cameras recordin’ your license plate, make, model, color & more — turnin’ our beautiful Tar Heel roads into a permanent Big Brother network.
They claim it’s for public safety: findin’ kidnapped folks, missin’ elderly with dementia, or catchin’ criminals. But we’ve fought this for years, and now it’s locked in.
Senate leader Phil Berger said: ‘People are driving their vehicles in public. Anybody who is there is there to see it. I think we’ve always got to be a little concerned about an overuse of technology, but I believe this is an appropriate step.’
Bless their hearts — sounds like a slippery slope to me. We don’t trust government with this kinda power over everyday North Carolinians just tryin’ to live free. Time to hold ’em accountable before it gets worse!

BREAKING: A North Carolina public school district just REJECTED this child's senior parking spot design because it's an American flag.
The school district said they can't promote "a particular religion, political viewpoint, or patriotic message."
Union County Public Schools.
Cary Mayor Harold Weinbrecht, a Democrat, says he spends 60 hours a week on the job as an underpaid mayor. If you're putting in that much time, how does something this significant go unnoticed? Something doesn't add up, no pun intended. #ncpol
Our foreign adversaries are hacking our voter databases on the grandest of scales.
Hundreds of thousands of illegals and dead people get mail-in ballots.
Anyone who says our elections are "secure" is a partisan idiot.
Trump's speech last night was not about the 2020 election.
It was about every future election.
Pass the SAVE Act!
@LeaderJohnThune Although I disagreed with Lindsey Graham on a lot… he wanted you to pass the SAVE ACT.
You should have already done that MONTHS ago.
You can still do it.
It’s the VERY LEAST you can do for the American people.
