@RNID Are people who loose their hearing as adults eligible for funding to learn BSL if they want to learn it? If not, will this change now the legal status of the language is changing?

@PennyMordaunt @NorwichChloe @rosie4westlancs @RNID @BDA_Deaf Interesting that it's not been mentioned that people who loose their hearing over 18 do not seem to be able to get access without self-funding to learn BSL. I find this astonishing and excruciatingly isolating at a time of vulnerability .
