@Royals At this point idk why any team would show us a RHP. Apparently they’d force us to wheel out our B-team the whole series. How are you going to develop rookies when they’re only allowed to see half of their at-bats? Mind-numbingly frustrating
@RoyalsData 162 game season has a lot of variance, if this team doesn’t make it to the playoffs he deserves a lot of the blame with what we’ve already seen
@Arrowhead_Adam Agree with everything besides “finding 75% of him” later on. We’ve decided [and have] to live and die by 1on1 matchups late in season with our scheme. Tonight is “we’re finding __% of value” while during the playoffs is we “don’t have the guy to matchup with…” - can’t have both
KC Tenants just came out against the Royals stadium plan because “it’ll drive up rents and displace people.” surprise.
Look, I get it... you’re fighting for tenants who get screwed by bad landlords. Respect.
But pushing rent control, blocking housing projects, and opposing stadiums is just arguing against everything that could actually bring rents down. Rich man bad.
The real rent killer in Kansas City isn’t a ballpark or new development. It’s not building enough housing. Period.
More units of all types = more options = landlords actually competing for renters.
That’s how rents come down. Fighting growth just keeps us stuck.
I want tenants to win too. That’s why I’m saying this.
Time to get on the right side of supply and demand, KC.
Let’s build.
